Conan's IQ

If Conan took an IQ test and answered all the questions honestly, what would his score be. I bet it would be about 300, but that might not be possible. He has a mind of an adult in the body of a child.

I doubt IQ test measures your true intelligence.

Whatever the number is it would have to be really high. I think around 200 myself

if you measured his IQ as a high school student, he'd probably be around 160.
If they measured his IQ as a kid... that'd just be cheating.
but either way, there's more to being smart than a high IQ. Although a high IQ would show a high level of pattern recognition abilities and other similar things, he's also helped a great deal by all the random things he knows.

I bet it's around 300 or 400. They'll probably exaggerate if it's shown in the manga/anime.
Aoyama made KID's IQ 400, right?

If KID's is 400 then Conan's IQ would be about that high as well

Errh ... I think 200 should be high enough. As fas as I know, Kaito had an IQ of 200 anyway. And besides, 300 or 400 or just plain impossible >_< You wouldn't be human anymore. 200 is already a ridiculous high number, only those 'abnormal' intelligent people got that.
And I'm betting Conan's/Shinichi's would also be that high, seeing how he figures out Kaito's tricks during the heists. Well, during an IQ test, you'll have to hope Conan/Shinichi is in good shape to solve the questions, otherwise his result will be lower, heh. IQ tests are very sensitive to mood swings and the like, so the results will be different each time. And it depends on whether you're used to do IQ tests as well. Your intellect won't change with filling in many IQ tests, but you'll understand the way the questions are asked better, and be able to solve them better. Well, statistically, two highly intelligent people living so close to each other is difficult to believe anyway, it isn't your every day encounter. And nope, I consider Heji being less intelligent than Conan or Kaitou, he plays the role of best friend (read: little helper. Hi James!)

These numbers are meaningless. IQ is a statistical measure, as such breaks down precisely around the edges.

Kid's IQ was given as 400 in Magic Kaito, but I think that was a needlessly exaggerated figure (we all know how well early Magic Kaito chapters kept to realistic details and storylines... look at Akako...) I'd say it's around 200, as would Shinichi's be, and Saguru and Heiji would probably be around this level- but as has often been commented, IQ only measures a certain type of intelligence. I mean, case in point, Doctor Eggman's IQ is given as 300, and how often does he get his ass kicked by assorted bizzarely-coloured small mammals?

Excellent, excellent point. The model fits best the central portion of the population. The more outlying the outlier, the less well it is fit.
