http://www.d-conan.net/osts-collection.html This site has all of the songs from the series. What are your favorite versions of Meitantei Conan, Conan no Thema, etc?

with the exception of the other climatic song that is usually used when Sleeping Kogoro reveals one of the major bits of evidence near the end of a case (2:47 in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQlgv3jxZag), and...er...first song you hear in 526 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDIl7OxtrLk), I prefer the original versions of the songs. Either version is fine for pretty much all of the background music though. The older Conan soundtracks are some of the only ones from anime that worth listening to.

But they seem to be avoiding any version of any of the songs from the older soundtracks (basically the original 3 soundtracks and the first 5 or 6 movie soundtracks) nowadays, which is a shame as the new background music is often not even 1/4 as good. Kogoro's theme seems to not be used anymore or THAT awesome music that was used a lot in the BO episodes in the 100s (4:47 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is5QrUK9Xx4). I don't think they even use the main theme anymore outside of the movie intros.  :(

I haven't listened to all, but I really love the one that has the string intro (seen in trailers for movie 5 and 6). It's just so awesome!
