Originally, I wanted to write a long opening post detailing things and all academic-like, but then I figured it's more fun to do it this way:

Post your counterarguments here!  I will defend!

Okay. Uh...I don't like? Seriously, I see nothing here to support this. Therefore, I shall oppose it. Besides, I never really liked same-gender 'shipping (no offense).

Dude, you were supposed to go all, "NOOOO IF ANYTHING SHIHO WANTS SHINICHI BECAUSE XYZ"

or

"NOOO THERE'S PROOF THAT SHIHO TOTALLY HATES RAN IN THE CASE OF XYZ WHERE JKL HAPPENED"

Counterargument1: There are no (obvious) signs that Shiho wants either of them.

Counterargument2: Ran reminds her too much of her (dead) sister. On the other hand... would she really mind?

Counterargument3: Haibara is obviously in love with Ayumi.

Alright!  

1. Shiho never said she wasn't lesbian!  She never said she was straight!  She never says much of anything!  
2. Have you seen the way she looks at Ran!!  They have to keep putting Akemi in the thought bubble JUST IN CASE someone gets offended by the blatant lesbianism!  ;D

1. Shiho reacts too strongly, for someone who is reserved, to not want Ran.  How's this!  Think about when she was pleading with Ran to not go back to the office (so she wouldn't get killed).  She didn't do that for Kogorou.

2. They put that resemblance in there to get past the censors only!  Besides, maybe she had a thing for her sister, but with Ran, it's okay!  ;D

3. HAIBARA IS A LOLICON!?

I could argue that she's not a lolicon because she's biologically only 7 but too little is known about the Apotoxin to make me even consider doing so.  Just thinking about it makes my head hurt.

It would be funny if Ran would ditch Shinichi cuase of SHiho.

About the pairing: Nah. Seriously no. >.< Why? They are too weird to thinkof as a pair. @@ I mean I can "see" RanxKazuha, even some RanxSonoko, but with Shiho it is somehow not working.
