No, this isn't a new series or anything, but if, about 5 or 10 years after DC ends, would you guys watch the series again if it was remastered, ALL of the fillers were removed, and it was re-recorded with Mouri's new VA?

You do realize that the original Dragonball Z was only 26 volumes, right?

The manga were only 42 volumes

true, but the Z part being used for Kai was only the last 26 of those 42 volumes
I've confirmed this by the fact that they separated Dragonball and Z in the manga in the English volumes and the last volume of Z is 26.
I wouldn't be suprised if Detective Conan ends up being 84 volumes anyway.

yeah, DC's longer than DBZ but it really has a lot of "filler" compared to dbz. You could just straight up cut out a majority of the cases and still keep the exact plot.
But as to whther they'll do it or not, who knows.

but one of the things I enjoy about Conan is how random cases end up being important later.

oh yeah, and they'd keep those cases probably, like the mountain villa murder case that's referenced in a later episode
but stuff like the one with the fisherman who kills someone across rooftops could probably go.

If it's Conan I'll watch it. Though, is it possible to get the show down to less than a hundred episodes without taking out anything important?

A good portion of the series is filler anyway. Detective Conan Kai Abridged Reduced might end up shorter than Dragon Ball Kai.

I think it would be easier if the old Seiyuu comes back to do the new episodes when the show is over

well dunno whether i would watch or not...
but i think there are some fillers that are quite interesting and funny...
like most of all eri-cases (don't wanna miss them..)
if you cut all the fillers out, then you might have like 150 episodes
