So, as most of you probably know the voice actor who plays Mouri kogoro has left DC for undisclosed reasons. However whoever they had replace him, I am not a fan. I understand its not easy to replace a voice, especially one like Kogoro's but It's not good.... Your thoughts? Here is a link to it.

Don't be too harsh on the guy. It was pretty much impossible to expect him to be even half as good as Kamiya.

I like! I expected a lot worse voice (something awful), and has not been well. Besides, I like that have premiered with an episode in which Kogoro have much prominence. I like it. Obviously not as Akira Kamiya, but eventually get used ... ^. ^

I don't know if it was a coincidence but there are a few scenes where Kogoro looks younger(fitting with his new voice). Actually this whole episode seems to be a bit different in animation, something doesn't look right but I can't figure out what.....I'm not crazy, it's there!

Fair enough, you're right. Its not so much that I don't like him, but as I am sure you agree we are all SO used to Kamiya. His voice is so unique and REALLY hard to duplicate. However after being on the air for 15yrs(ish) there has to be "someone" who can do a better job. But all in all it doesn't affect the show, and I am still happy watching my main man Conan!!! hahahaha

Oh well, we'll just have to get used to his new voice 

What part of the video has Kogoro actually speaking?
I don't want to ruin anything for myself, (I'm barely at episode 290. *_*)
I just want to skip to it, downsize it and listen. 

its an anime original - there is nothing it can spoil... except that kogoro has a new voice

Better yet, save it... just get to it without knowing and see if you can recognize the difference.

Its ok. Wont be the same without Kamiya, but I'll live. Not like I have much of a choice.

geh. I didn't notice this topic. Kamiya please come baaaaaack! It feels kinda lonely without his voice..  I just hope conan and shinichi's voice wont change until the end..

I don´t think I can get used to the new voice, anyway, I think this new voice doesn´t have the funny "aura" that the other voice had 

well yea, you have to get used to it...

but i think, there could be a better choice for kogoros voice...
imo his current new voice is too serious for that sappy kogoro

but well...we can't change it now, can we

i'm very courious about the first scene when kogoro is having his special laugh by playing with his tongue xD
really can't imagine how his new voice fits to it
