To clarify: the beginning of this case in the manga continued where The Return ended, which they swiped and used for Blue Spark in the anime.
Yeah, that actually messed up a few DB scenes, with Ayumi's being the biggest. In it's original flow, it had Ayumi being cute by taking a dozen plates of the same dish because Conan said he liked it(he used a pun when the Dbs caught what he was saying to Ai).
