The fact that he was a "brilliant" surgeon/doctor and did not immediately see that the can was a distraction (like 90% of the viewers) is what bothers me. But a dead Conan would be a worse ending..so...
Also found the whole Ran "Sato is shot" scene where she rubs the blood on her face over the top. The could of made it more believable by Ran doing a self hug or her touching her face in a *gasping moment* and then grabbing her hair. People just don't grab onto their faces and pull down in dramatic scenes...unless in a J-Drama.
