To be more exact, what is your favorite case just because of the case itself?
Mine is probably either the Night Baron case or the Furinkazan case. Probably just the Furinkazan case if you ignore the awesome personalities and motives of the suspects in the Night Baron case.

oh man, I was totally gonna make a topic like this half an hour ago but I got sidetracked
anyway, it's not my #1 favorite, because that would take too much thought to determine, but one case that's never mentioned that I liked a lot was the detective boys episode with the jewel thief who made the family restaurant successful so that he could dig for his hidden gems. I just like how pissed conan gets at the criminal's stupidity and starts suggesting how to be a better criminal and such, and how the detective boys start poking fun at conan for thinking he's all that, when they solve the case themselves.

Well since I already mentioned moonlight sonata, akemi case, mermaid island, bloody venus, poisoned lemon tea, et etc...
I LOVE the Hatamoto family case. Everyone in the case was very well characterised and the twist and turns were awesome. Also it has this awesome classical mystery flavor to it.
I also love Mystery of August 3rd just for the plot. Omg baww ;_;. Free money is always a suspicious thing.
Generally the DB cases where Agasa is making a game for them to solve. So much fun! (though they usually get turned into murder cases anyways..>>)
And all the KID cases, I just love the thought of a guy dressed in a white pimp suit running around stealing things.

I actually watched that like, yesterday, that's also a good one. And it's the first two-parter, amg.
btw, your sig has a typo in it, gasp! Also, I think the quote was actually "figures don't lie, but liars figure", but I could be wrong on that part.

I noticed that too.
Also, sorry but what was the Hatamoto family case again? It seems to have slipped my mind.
Jeez, cutting down from important plot/ char development cases really narrows down my favorite eps/cases...
can that one "3 days with Hattori" count? I really like that deduction game with Hakuba, Conan, Heiji, that one girl, and that other guy detective...it was like Detective Koushien or something.
Are Kaito Kid cases included in the important plot / character development ? I like them as well.
Also, I like that one with the masked killer in that villa sonoko, ran, and conan were in. The fat guy wasn't actually fat...he just had a severed head in his shirt

...lol

Kaito Kid is difficult to say since they are so different from other cases.
I meant for this topic just to be about the cases. For example, if your favorite case is either of the cases from 129 (but ignoring any of the important Haibara stuff that happens) than ok.
Yes the Detective Koushien counts.

I am up to 194 and so far my favorite filler (no important plot or CD) has been 184, it is one I was really looking forward to and was not at all disappointed. unlike some other episodes I can think of.

Hatamoto family was the first 2-part episode, where conan and co are on a boat with the hatamoto family. The head of the family is kind of a dick and he ends up getting offed, at which point someone points out that a man who just married into the family earlier that day is actually the son of a man who the victim basically forced to suicide, so they figure he's the culprit. He's locked in a room, someone else dies and they find out the guy's not in the room anymore, everyone thinks that he did it. Conan knows better though, and finds out that the culprit is actually this emo artist dude, who had the hots for his cousin, who was the woman that the man married, and the victim was not cool with the whole cousins marrying thing, not to mention the woman had no feelings for him.

I also love that "glove of sadness" case. Even without the development with Eisuke it was just a great case.
I also think the tengu case is a really memorable one. I really love the murder trick I think it's one of his most interesting ones!
Haha and I lovee Goro (the kitty). Such a cute case!

Thanks for catching that I actually got that quote off a friend so you're probably right and he's probably wrong

Even though I'm going back next week, I'll still be posting a lot probably, as this semester I managed to snag myself a Tuesday-Thursday week. 4 day weekends every week ftw.

i already started school, ;__; second day, it's pretty fun, except for the fact that I have to take art spectrum in my senior yr of high school with a bunch of bratty freshmen -_- I'm not the artsy type too, so it's very boring for me, haha. But all the rest of my classes are sweet.
Plus, i hate how I have to start waking up at 7ish again, siiigh. High School. good thing its my last year.
sorry back to topic...um yeah, I also liked that one where the culprit used a fishing rod with like a flower pot attached to it, and whacked someone across the roof from it. lmao. that is hilarious. Plus the fact that conan found out the method because the culprit accidently hit a bird in the sky LOL.
