I've been searching on youtube for a decent detective conan trailer, and i did not really find anything interesting that would make the viewers wanna watch this series. And i can quite say that it is a shame that so many anime-viewers, are missing this anime.. I presume that we can't even compare the fans of this show, with the fans of naruto.. whereas conan is far better than naruto.

So i guess, we could find some volunteers from this forum, and make a decent trailer, and spread the world with it !

This isn't a series that can advertised normally. Although if you ask me, the Case Closed season commercials that Funi has made are really good.

The only way to get people to watch it is to convince someone to watch the first 13 episodes. Tell them the plot will eventually go somewhere but that there is enough interesting stuff happening until that happens. Also give them this: http://www.dctp.ws/DC_Subbed_List.pdf. Tell them to just watch the manga episodes and a few other ones (my suggestion is typically 6, 66, 128, 180, 181 and 184) since a lot of people are scared by the over 500 episodes.

True... DC is very interesting, but to introduce it, especially now, will scare people... since the anime is like 544 episodes so far and the manga is 703 chapters... people freaked!

I just tell people that since it's been going so long it has to be good, otherwise it would have been canceled along time ago lol.  Somehow some of my friends have bought into that haha.

Well, it's true, this series is so good that for 13 years I have been following it non-stop... only faltered a little due to some filler in the anime, but just with the anime though... so far I have convinced my two friends to watch it with me  :)

True.... Pokemon is long... and is ....not a very good anime (from my view I don't mean to offense anyone).....

Yes, Ash is still the protoganist and Team Rocket became even more pathetic as time went.
I wasn´t even a fan of the first seven (or so) seasons, so I was very surprised that even now there are people who are keeping up with it.

I wasn´t even a fan of the first seven (or so) seasons, so I was very surprised that even now there are people who are keeping up with it.

I'm assuming that only a small section of the fanbase actually has seen the show from beginning to the most recent episodes.

Most are just whoever buys the games. Most likely children.

few weeks ago they passed the 600 episode line.

Actually you can compare between detective conan and pokemon.

pokemon is easier to start watch even if you start at episode 500 because they are doing the EXACT same thing over and over, episode by episode.
In detective conan however, there is a plot. And not every episode we get a reminder about Conan (And Haibara). You see a little boy who puts a detective to sleep and then solves the case by using his voice. the person who watches it and never before has seen detective conan may think: "what the hell? how come they can't tell that this guy's lips don't move, and why is this little kid is so smart" and so on.
if someone starts watching from the middle then it is problematic for the viewer to understand what's going on.

hmmm if only there was a person who could make this really great trailer about DC
a trailer that would show people how mysterious,thrilling and shocking DC is....
i have made one of my friends into a hardcore DC fan although he is still around ep 230+ he watches DC everyday. the rest of my other friends dont watch anime or are afraid of the scary 540+ episodes and wont even bother watching the first 3 episodes.

There are Seven season???.... I didn't even get past episode 2 XDDD LOL.... Pokemon and Yugioh.... (and every other card/pets anime that somehow involve some 14 yrs old kid pulling them out and attack.... ) maybe I'm too old for those....thought Kurohime is the only manga that "kinda" use that method yet I love it...

I don't know if these count as good trailers, but I remember I enjoyed them when I first watched them.
