Top two are Aono san's drawing,
and bottom two are by Sudo san.

Both two are considered as best Drawing Directors,(though, Aono san did quit years ago.)
but thier drawings are very different.
Aono san's drawing is more closer to Gosho sama's drawing...
sometimes he had drawn Haibara better than Gosho sama(I think)


Sudo san had worked from the 1st EP, and the longest staff member to work on DC.
He is in charge of MV, and his drawing is lot sharper than Gosho sama's.





Really, which kind of drawing do you like better?

hmmm I can't really tell the difference honestly,

all I know is that there is a huge change in the artstyle compared with the older episodes and the newer ones (the first like 150, the head shapes were a lot rounder..and stuff, its hard to explain)

the newer artstyle is much more sharp, and it just looks better :p

You need more definitive screens as the ones provided only have small differences. Only thing I could point out was that Conan's jawline differed but that could of been because of the angle.

The guy who drew this is the one I like better....maybe. The one on the left with Ayumi, not the right.

i like the style in the second pic with ayumi and ai!  for me this is a better design in DC episodes(the better style ) than the new design in the recent episodes!

who did the animation for the Kaze no Lalala OP? Because that person is the best.

Firstly it's important to remember that animation is a team work.  Many people work on one frame.  In the most basic setting someone will do background, a bunch of people will do the character moving and some people will be making sure that all the frames look the same drawing style .

I'm a big fan of Aono-san's frames.  The lines were blended accordingly and have a thickness that remind me of manga lines with pen nib.  I'm also a fan of the colour theory and the proportions .  Of course I would understand why it'll be difficult to HD.  So I guess The current frames with the sharp pen digital lines makes sense too (it's not as warm but that's how anime lines usual are nowadays).  

Personally I don't like how the art right now is very inconsistant between the frames..  There seems to be more distortions between frames resulting in really weird frames if you don't pause at the right place.

oh yeah, whoever did the current opening (everlasting luv) and revive animation is my favorite, very good artwork

Aono's Conan possesses a kind of extra badass-ness.

I'd say I liked both.

But if i really have to pick, it'll be Aono for Ran's drawing.

Who's drawing is it in 500+ ep? (I can't ever catch up to the credit and read XD*
