Logic-problem regarding Episode 463

I'm translating DC to german using english subs, and in episode 463 there is one thing i'm having a problem with: conans deduction that the band-logo has changed. The situation is: there is a flag/poster of the OLD logo hanging on the wall, with one corner loose.
somehow, in the english release of the anime or manga, conan argues using the unfaded area beneath the poster that there was something different hanging there. so the shop-owner agrees and shows them the new logo. but my problem is: if that is a NEW logo, then it couldn't have been hanging there before the OLD one.
I thought maybe the new one is the one on the wall, but that can't be, because the boy takumi-kun recognizes the one the shop-owner is holding as the one from the tatoo, which only 3 persons have, because the logo on it is so brand new.
So these are the facts: on the wall is still hanging the old logo, so how on earth does conan deduce that there is a new one? only using a loose corner with a scotch-tape on it.
As a tipp: Note the several unfaded spots on the wall around the flag, where also something was removed. does this mean anything?

463 was a Kaizou-Neg release, to note, and not a DCTP one.

There isn't a problem with Conan's deduction, just a bit of error with the translation/anime version. Conan deduces that there is a new poster by pointing out that one of the corners of the current poster is just being held by tape while everything else on the wall has a pin. This leads him to believe that the guy isn't lazy but used it as a quick fix because he's planning on changing the poster anyway. Then he adds to this by pointing out that the wall under the poster is faded(sunlight) and there are 2 other fade spots on the wall(this is where I think the translation/anime kinda messed up since makes it feel Conan is still talking about the poster not the two empty spots near it, but even the manga isn't that direct with it) and assumes that those two posters where moved to make space for a new bigger poster. So with this Conan deduces that there is a new logo that because the old one is about to be taken down...it's a stretch I know but makes sense.

In the Anime at least, Conan hears about the logo from Ran's Question to Sonoko:
The call starts at 4:40
at 5:04 Ran hears her dad say this " Maybe it'd be easier to search for a guy with a nail tattoo."
at 5:14 Ran ask the importation question " Did Itagaki Roku by any chance like nails or something?"
5:19 "Yeah. Something like a weird picture of a nail." (Note this question piques Conan interest)
at 5:21 Ran expression Says a Yes. Though not showed We can conclude that Ran tell the group about Sonoko's Answer
which was 5:31"it's a snake with a nail through its head."
By where they go next We can know Ran has told of Sonoko Information.
So when Conan see the wrong Banner picture up, he knows something is up.
I feel this is more likely for why Conan ask about a new banner. I also believe that the spot on the wall have been covered by other Banners since that shop has been around. Think of it as a Fad spot

@theblind: thx. you're right, it's a stretch, but at least it makes sense. @jd: I never said 463 is a dctp-release. dctp also doesn't translate the manga, but here are also discussion threads regarding those.
