The Conan Wiki Project: Call for logo and Names

You may have heard I have started a Conan wiki project a few months ago. It has been slient, but the project has been going on. I got the server set up, the templates imported, and as content articles is concerned, what I just need is to upload the pictures-- but I still need to set up rules and guidelines and some fine-tuning of software. (No, I'm not opening it to the public yet.)

In the meantime, I would like everyone to find some ideas on the following:


  1. The Name. I and Kentaru went up with these two names in previous discussions:
        1. Conan Database
        2. Shinitsu! A Detective Conan Encyclopedia
      Which one do you like? (If you have though of some other name that is better than these two, please raise it here and we would discuss it too.

  2. The Logo. The Wiki needs a logo. Due to the constrints of MediaWiki and copyright laws, the requirments are:
        1. 135X135 pixel, in BMP or PNG format.
        2. Should not include the likeness of DC/MK characters and/or any published official DC/MK art but still need to distinctively DC. Including these material in such a usage is hardly fair use.

I sincerely hope all of you can give us a helping hand.

Second on Conan's Notebook, or something similar like "Conan's Casebook" or "Conan File's". Tanteipedia just sounds silly.

I just don't think "Conan's XXXX" holds the integral value of the "-pedia" suffix.

I agree with that but "Database" sounded pretty nice, too. And relatively accurate to what the aim of the site is.

Of course, Tanteipedia sounds more suiting for this kind of thing, given the host and all.
