This is not a topic about the plot. Just a...different idea.

I think that for the first half of the 2nd to last year of the Conan anime, they should just show about 15 or so episodes from the final arc (wouldn't be surprised if the arc starts during the 3rd to last year of the Conan anime). Now, for the rest of that year they should show the major plot and character developments of the entire series instead of showing new episodes. Maybe also let the fans vote for their all time favorite Conan cases (with the top 5 reairing).

The rest of the final arc would be shown the next year. A few older OPs and EDs would used in the episodes (but only when they would work, obviously). The final OP would be a BZ song and the final ED would be a Mai Kuraki song. And the final few chapters (maybe even the entire final volume) would be put into one final special (2 hours...maybe even 3?).

How I wish that Detective Conan would have more plot-related episodes... I totally agree with the B'z OP suggestion. DC needs more B'z theme songs. As for the ending, Mai-chan or Garnet Crow would be fine with me.

but yeah, i would like more plot episodes lol, as for openings, id like to reair Revive lol, it was there for like 5 episodes, and it had really cool animations

as for closings, i'd like something that's not too sappy, something along the lines of the first ending Step by Step ziggy (still my fave ending)

I find it peculiar that your preferred ending of conan includes recap episodes

unless they're actually redone summary episodes instead of just being old episodes. I'd be cool with that.

Basically one episode for each year.

For example: Half of the 1999 episode would cover the Haibara cases. The other half would cover the character development for the many characters (there was a TON of character development that year). 2000 would be almost completely Pisco and Desperate Revival with only a couple of minutes dedictated towards the four cases that didn't involve them. (yes, there was a two hour special, but that only mattered for that one line Ran said)

I always dreamed "Mysterious Eyes" to be the final OP... and somehow the final ED, too, you know, I think they should play it in the background while pictures of the most important locations are shown...

I agree with you ^_^ To me, "Revive" has some of the BEST animation for an opening ^_^ and the song is awesome too ^_^

and the ending, nothing to sappy... I don't know... but sappy love song doesn't really go by if the ending is going to include every characters and their moments (which is how I want to ending to be like XDDD)

I agree with you ^_^ To me, "Revive" has some of the BEST animation for an opening ^_^ and the song is awesome too ^_^

I've always thought of this for the ED animation:

Ran and Shinichi are in the church for the wedding (DON'T KILL ME COAI FANS!!!) and after they kiss, *dodges knives* Sonoko drags them away to Heiji and Kazuha's wedding (stupid, eh). THEN Shinichi drags them to Satou and Tagaki's wedding! XD AAAAnd they go away just in time for Shiratori and Kobayashi's wedding! XDDDD

NOT practical.

I probably would see the Endgame of the anime last between 6 months to 1.5 years because by looking  at the main plot of DC, there's more to it that needs to be revealed, and then of course confrontations, etc. The same could go for the Manga, but might take longer if done in regular 16 pages, but Gosho might make the Files longer for the Endgame.

If there's a final special episode(veeeeeery posible), it's gonna be an 8-hour special
