And before anyone asks:
Just because it's out on 10/2 does NOT mean it will be subbed on 10/2.
Based on what we saw for M12, we'll probably see it end of October or sometime early November.
YAY!!!!!! That's some news! THX!Jd- wrote:Aaaaaactually, nope.Zdm321 wrote: Nice, can't wait!

Expect it to be ready sooner, to some extent.
We haveto work with this time that we didn't have for M12, which should speed it up considerably.Spoiler:
I'm not here to say it'll be released the day after, but we'll be putting as much into it as possible.
That seems like a good idea but it's probably more trouble than its worth since you can't assume the theatrical and dvd versions will be exactly the same (which could force them into doing more work to adjust things). Also, I think Jd said there isn't a cam version available online(pictures DC fans deducing who would bring a camera into the theater and how they would conceal it, then proceed to attack them all before the opening trailers)haibara_ai wrote: isn't it possible that you already keep your subs ready along with timing from the theatre recordings, youtube version, etc. and when dvd comes out all you gotta do is put those subs in the raw, assuming theatre and dvd versions are exactly same (which i'm not sure of)???
So that's why I never seen a cam rip of a DC movie...the fans there are to smart no wonder why they can come up with so many creative ways to kill somebodyTheBlind wrote: (pictures DC fans deducing who would bring a camera into the theater and how they would conceal it, then proceed to attack them all before the opening trailers).
I don't think there will be any Blu-ray Discs of DC in the near future and guess that the special was only released on Blu-ray because of Lupin III who is a classic. But it would be awesome to see a DC movie on Blu-ray! In a few years, when the sector for Blu-rays has got bigger, we can assume DC Blu-rays, but yet it's too early.jason wrote:I wish they started releasing them onto Blu-Ray like they did for the Lupin III vs. DC special.
I'm not sure if there will be a rental of the Blu-ray, but I believe there were rumors saying there would be a Blu-ray of the retail version.赤井秀一 (Akai Shuichi) wrote:I don't think there will be any Blu-ray Discs of DC in the near future and guess that the special was only released on Blu-ray because of Lupin III who is a classic. awesome.
That would be awesome. Plus I would like to get them physically since Japan and US have the same region coding for Blu-Rays and also look at the extras.Jd- wrote:I'm not sure if there will be a rental of the Blu-ray, but I believe there were rumors saying there would be a Blu-ray of the retail version.赤井秀一 (Akai Shuichi) wrote:I don't think there will be any Blu-ray Discs of DC in the near future and guess that the special was only released on Blu-ray because of Lupin III who is a classic. (For those not aware: Japanese movies are released in rental form first, and then followed by retail versions a few months later; in Conan's case, usually mid-December)
Should this come to be, we'll of course do a Blu-ray version as well.![]()
