I wanted to know if any of you had any theories as why the name of the poison was was chosen as APTX
4869 and who chose it...
in Ran's Suspicion we find out that 4869 (shi ha ro ku) also means Sherlock, as in Sherlock Holmes, and 4869 is the pin to conan's cell phone
so who picked APTX 4869 for the name? (Haibara hasn't given any indication to being a sherlock holmes fan that I can recall, so someone else who is a fan of Holmes fan? -- Okiya Subaru maybe hehe

?)
What are your ideas?

The Black Org it self give sherlock name for the drugs......
remember when ai try to crack the BO's Laptop that Picaso left... the password is conected with detective name.... (shelling Ford) the earlier name for Sherlock Holmes
the drugs it self name Apotoxcin 4869 Means Sherlock

yeah the black organization did... and that just suggests more that one of their members is a sherlock holmes fan....
but who else that likes sherlock holmes might be in the Black org? Or is there another reason perhaps for choosing Sherlock Holmes besides that a member is a fan...?

if it was started by Doyle

then I guess the boss would likely be a modern day Irene Adler (Yoko-chan! hehe)

actually if you talk about the history of the BO... in V19-9 Haibara is thinking to herself...
"Kudo-kun? You would probably never even dream that you are already part of a project the Black Organization has been working on already for half a century."
So that is already a given then that the Black Organization has been around for at least 50 years... =) for how much longer they have been around is an interesting question

Hahahaha... That's interesting, to say the least. Doyle
did invent the "Criminal Mastermind" archetype with Moriarty

. Maybe Doyle himself was the true Napoleon of Crime...
No, no, Jd-! "It's this poisonous atmosphere."

If Aoyama used Sir Arthur Conan Doyle works a lot.. would he use any of Agatha Christie works?

Ir's pretty much because Aoyama is making a detective manga and his charaters and some character names or even restaurant are based from detectives, then there's no reason that he won't use these detective-based theme even for the BO

I think Aoyama wouldn't use such a sentimental Politic Issue ..
