Assuming that fan ideas will usually not make it into the actual manga, I know most of the OVAs are based on fan-made ideas. I was just thinking of a cool idea for an OVA. What if Ai and Ran switched places somehow with the drug? (of course being a dream). That would make for a strange and different Ran and Haibara! LOL What ideas would you all send to Gosho?

Ummm,
I would like a scenario when kaito became a detective while conan became a phantom thief... pretty farfetched I know.
Or maybe a heist of the original KID with yuusaku chasing him.

me, i want ran as an officer and shinichi is her partner. perfect partner.

KID vs. Hakuba, Kid vs. Hakuba and Kid vs. Hakuba

I want an all out war in Beika City with FBI and Police vs Black Organization. Takagi and Satou are tasked with eliminating Korn and Chianti, Jodie for taking down Vermouth (permanently), Heiji against Bourbon, Shuichi and Black against Gin and Vodka, and finally Conan/shinichi against BO Boss!!

Suspect: Kuroba Kaito!

Would be epic. And if there was nothing about KID in the entire OVA, that would be more epic.

The basic focus of the story?  You mean mysteries right cause, ya know if you mean romance you should go and read a romance manga.

Kidding (I love Gosho romance) xD.  Just thought you should know, Gosho doesn't write any of the OVAs (except kinda the first one where they took some of it from "Magic Kaito") nor does he write any of the movies.

If I make an OVA?  Hahah I'll probably make a B.O. centric one!  Follow Gin the whole day, from when he wakes up.  Watch Gin as he butter toast and attempt to sneak poison in to the strawberry jam...

Or better yet follow Vermouth~ maybe there will be a super sexy shot, ne?

Or umm... a Kaitou KID versus Ran gambling game!  The master of the game will only tell the location of his Ruby exhibit to people who win :O...or something like that.  Since Kaito won't have a chance without his lady luck *cough* person who distracts everyone, Aoko must show up too <3.

Gosho did everything with the Shinichi and Ran relationship that he could at the time and than slowly but surely made the BO and its many friends and enemies the focus. That relationship was the focus for the first 100 or so episodes and then was again with Desperate Revival. But after that it was overshadowed by Jodie, Akai, Vermouth etc. Overshadowed because Ran is the unoriginal ridiculously nice character that occasionally kicks butt.

And aren't all the OVAs a little far-fetched??  JK But anyway, I think the Phantom thief switch with the detective idea would be cool! I also thought of having Shinichi and Conan in a case together, which would normally be impossible. But if it was a dream it wouldn't be!

I would like it when the ones from the members' fanfiction thread will happen . . .
You know, the part when Okiya quit as a cook for Gin & Vodka and they found a new cook and she's Ran. xD

I think every idea would be fine . . . but I want Okiya's cooking skills to be involved! :3

yep yep imagine that! A showdown between Conan and Shinichi! That would be the epitome of my happiness!!!! And Kaitou Kid and Heiji can be in it, Kogoro Mouri and the Detective Boys. It can be a contest! lol

That should be titled as "The Grand Battle of the Brains"
