Spoiler:
Although that’s certainly feasible, I’m not sure if it’s time yet.
I think they’ve done the right thing by increasing the delay between the manga and the anime to compensate for the numerous interruptions that Aoyama’s health made necessary. Instead of the established rule of thumb to adapt a case roughly one year after its original publication, we’ve moved closer to one year and a half:
The Clenched Scissors And The Clipped Letters
File 948 (February 10, 2016) – File 950 (February 24, 2016) → Episode 861 (June 3, 2017) – Episode 862 (June 10, 2017) ≈ one year, four months
Eri Kisaki Abduction Case
File 984 (January 18, 2017) – File 986 (February 1, 2017) → Episode 901 (May 12, 2018) – Episode 902 (May 19, 2018) ≈ one year, four months
I suppose that Fitting Room Murder Case, A Chance Meeting At The Beach and Murder Inside Café Poirot Case stand out because of seasons. They wanted to cinematize the former two relatively early to avoid showing it during the winter, but also not wait until spring, and the latter probably only works in December anyway.
Assuming that there needs to be a gap of at least one year and four months, I could theoretically imagine Burning Tent Murder Case coming respectively on June 17 and June 24 as its Shounen Sunday release was between February 15, 2017 and March 1, 2017. Looking at the pattern that those responsible seem to be following since last summer, though, I doubt that we’ll see it before July because manga cases and anime originals have basically been taking turns on a monthly basis. January and March, for example, had nothing but adaptations, and even if Eri Kisaki Abduction Case doesn’t have a companion this time, it keeps the two-month distance. Additionally, they’ve inserted yet another remaster, making me believe that they’re planning yet another two or three new fillers after that. In the end, the anime is still in the realm where new chapters used to be the rule and not an exception, so they’ll eventually have to distribute the good stuff even more if they want to spare us the mother of all hells. Let’s say they’re going to do just that and mechanically brought one adaptation every two months—they would reach Black Bunny’s Club Case in July 2019, one year and three months later, and all those epic breaks wouldn’t have mattered. I’d definitely prefer that to earlier adaptations.

I’ve genuinely forgotten everything I could’ve known about this one, so I’m genuinely curious to watch myself becoming genuinely disgusted.

I joke, but it's early enough in the series that it's probably more memorable to me than half of the AOs from just last year.

Yeah, but that also could be program changes of TMS. Maybe the remastered stuff wasn't ready or something.

Crunchyroll doesn't stream remasters. Hence why.
So for CR users there's a 2-week break in Conan anime. Because their contract apparently only covers new episodes.

I think the reason why chinpokomon has mentioned it in the first place is that we don’t just have the preview as usual, but the actual episode—in full. Rather than have, though, I should probably use had as the content has been removed. Since Japanese fans have indeed gotten the promised remaster of Episode 107, it seems clear that this was a mistake on Crunchyroll’s part.
So if you know certain sites, you are now able to watch both the remaster of Episode 107 and Episode 904. What a weekend!

Yes, I have been told about that as well.
It's obviously a mistake by someone at CR because 904 has to air in two weeks.
