Episodes 524-525 (The Blue Spark of Hate) Discussion topic

I think it would be a good idea to have topics specifically discussing the newly released eps (mostly because no one talks about them in the other topic (not sure if that's a rule or something or if people just like saying "thanks Jd" and "when's the new episode " too much)).
Anyway, this case was interesting. I liked how it went from one thing to another before Agasa ran out of gas. (although, as someone already predicted would happen, the stuff that happened in the previous episode was wrapped up in less then 3 minutes) Haibara being agitated made me actually laugh. I also, liked how THE VICTIM before he was THE VICTIM was an asshole. That just came out of nowhere and I liked it. Then of course, he blew up. Than of course, FIRE INSPECTOR shows up (it's a shame that I still can't remember his name).
After that, it became pretty bad, imo. Not terrible. It was just..."well...ok....um...ok. I don't care that much..." I DID hate the static electricity being used as the (a?) reason why Haibara was annoyed. It felt idiotic, to say the least. I haven't minded how predictable the culprits have been but this one was just sad. I mean, she was the only one who was given a name, of course she did it! =P
However, I did like Agasa's new game (which looked like a blatant Super Mario Kart ripoff) and another random Subaru cameo. I hope that becomes a running gag in this series. Okiya Subaru always getting a random 5 second cameo. :DDDDDDDDD

I loved the AiXConan scenes.

lol Sorry, but that's all I liked in that case.
Anyhow, I think that's a pretty much good idea to have a topic for each new case/episode. xD

I just liked when Ai was yelling at Conan to open the door for her. Ai sounded just like when Megumi voices Lina Inverse at that time.

I liked the game only because it appeared to be on a black Wii, with what appeared to be PS3 controllers. Man... that Agasa is a genius, he hacked and modded a Wii in the most awesome way... I want one now....

I do not appreciate the way the anime faculty in Japan rearranged the orders of the cases from Gosho's original manga series. In the manga this case happened a volume before the one where Shinichi was accused of almost murder, and the revolving sushi restaurant case was right after it.
Instead they placed the beginning of the sushi case, where Conan talks to Hattori on the phone about getting 100 antidote pills from Haibara, into the beginning of this case, which has cause some of the anime-only audiences to mistakenly believe that Haibara was glaring angrily at Conan because she was jealous of him and Ran, when it was because of static electricity.
And in the manga Conan was sitting in between Ayumi and Haibara (typical of Gosho), and he was scared and asked Ayumi to switch seat with him. In this episode he was sitting in the front seat of the car alone (the way it is in the beginning of the sushi case when he was secretly speaking with Hattori) and felt a spine-chilling moment from her glare from the back.
Now it's unknown how the beginning of the sushi case will be, especially since there was a word pun that will play into the middle of that case (where Ayumi keeps getting Conan the same type of fish since he used that to cover up what he's been talking about with Hattori).
Everything is a big mess now in the anime (not to mention sometimes the characters look weird, especially Takagi).

I agree with the both oh you!!! ^^
This episode totally made my day when I watched it. It was really cute. These two can really make us smile, don't they??
And also, Haibara's stiff "onegii" is sooooo cute!!!
Besides, I don't think Haibara being annoyed with the frequent shocks she got is bad. It's realistic anyway. And of course, she IS Haibara. Being annoyed is the right response from her
