It doesn't really matter. They've been airing fillers between plot cases for decades.

@xLostChains: no, the movie tie-ins/reference episodes air on the same Saturday the movie airs.

The summary for this seems to be the typical AO of Kogoro trying to find a client only for the client to be kidnapped.

They don't immediately connect to the next case.
If it was like during the Sera case where Conan ran out after realizing Vermouth and Bourbon did something and then the next case starts as he's still running now there it wouldn't make any sense to add an AO in between those two points.
