In the very second file of DC, Shinichi creates the alias "Conan Edogawa" in a rush because Ran is asking his name, and that was the first thing he thought about...

Well, what if Shinichi had time to think about his new name? He would have chosen a more japanese sounding name, but also with a lot of fictional detectives references, like Haibara did.

I have some ideas, like "Komuro Akechi", but I'm curious about other people may come up with. So, what name do you think he would have chosen?

I don't think he would have chosen anything aside from Sherlock related names because he's a fanboy..
