Then I guess that we’re really not going to see an adaptation of Ran and Shinichi’s first encounter so soon. I thought that they’d only save it until the last episodes with the current ending theme, but as it seems, they’ll skip it at least in the foreseeable future.
I’m sorry, but there’s no way for me to stay serious while watching the new ending theme. The song itself is actually something fresh—specially for the singer—, and so is the animation—if there’s any. But the combination—specially what is supposed to be dancing during the refrain near the end—is just so silly that I couldn’t help it and burst out laughing. Don’t get me wrong, it’s—in a very weird way—cool, but as soon as I see the dancing, I lose control over my body.
At any rate, I wonder if this means that we’re going to see this song until the Girls Band Case, which will presumably be animated in the fall. Although I guess that we shouldn’t exclude anything after Kimi e no Uso, that seems rather long for such an unusual ending theme to me.

It's not the greatest thing ever of course but I'm so sick of Ran and Shinichi's lovey-dovey crap that I'm willing to accept almost anything that deviates a bit from that. This does it in a slightly silly but still somewhat refreshing way so it's fine as far as I'm concerned.
"I wonder if there really is a God...
If such an entity really existed, wouldn't all honest, hard-working people be happy?"
I didn't like it. The song is good, but the animation was off the mood, and they were out of character. I prefer the shinRan moments, this ending is incomparable with the previous one. it felt so childish and it didn't have the DC atmosphere. But, well, thanks for the hard work.
"I don't want to see her cry anymore, even if it means that I no longer have a place in her heart"
Haha, "Sawage"...I mean, I understand that Mai Kuraki probably only knows a few English words, but this is a bit ridiculous. Pronunciation is one thing, but she should've been able to spell that correctly if she looked up the English word online or in a dictionary.

It's most likely the imperative form of the verb sawagu - 騒ぐ which would translate as "to make a noise" so a japanese equivalent of "make some noise" rather than a twisted form of the english word.

Ah, okay. And in all fairness the Katakana alphabet has a "wa" letter but not "va", to my knowledge.

Eh, it's a stretch to say that because a character doesn't show up in something like this means that the people who made it aren't too fond of said character.
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”
“Education never ends... it is a series of lessons, with the greatest for the last.”
