can someone confirm that the Zombie Blade case will be three episodes long? Someone has updated DCW to say so but left no source and there doesnt seem to be a thread for any of the episodes for September yet. I know that the manga version was quite long, but I just want to make sure.

They're probably just arranging it to air before or after some other case or an announcement considering how the ratings will probably be pretty good for those episodes.

The delaying of this case isn't the first time they've delayed a case—Kaitou Kid and the Blush Mermaid should've been the 239th manga case in the anime, but it ended up being the 243rd. Shinichi & Ran – First Contact should've been the 266th manga case of the anime, but the next manga case (the Zombie case) that's airing is the 268th. Maybe after the Zombie case, we'll get it. If not then, then I'd say after the Girl Band case (File 936–File 938)

My favorite is the Agasa First Love case. Happened in the manga before the Vermouth finale, happened in the anime right before Kir.

There's also the DB case "The Secret of the Moon, the Star, and the Sun" which happens before Haibara's introduction in the manga and yet they animated it about 3 years later after Haibara's introduction.
