Whether it be positive or negative, has there been times where the anime adaptation of a manga case caused you to have a different response then its original manga form?
For me, to use more recent examples, Red Woman and the Kamaitachi Inn were cases who when I first read the manga versions, I thought they were just ok, and yet I felt they played out much better in the anime. Having the anime's lighting and the right soundtrack cues really enhanced these cases.
On the reverse, one thing I miss from the older days is how sometimes they would add extra scenes that weren't in the manga in case the story didn't run long enough to fill up 2 episodes. In some cases (like the Poolside murder and the Actress Blogger) watching both parts back to back on Crunchyroll the pacing imo gets really interrupted when in Part 2 they would replay 2-5 minutes worth of footage from the first part.
What about you guys?
Has the anime ever affected your view of manga cases?

Not really. I prefer most cases in the manga but sometimes the anime does do surprising things. Red Woman was way better in the manga imo but the Kawanakajima case was better in the anime 50-50. The 20 year old murder intent is way better in the anime.

Not really, but the first few volumes of the manga made me think the anime team were kinda dumb in their first year.
