Does anyone else feel like there needs to be a "sacrifice" at the end?

I'm scared that Gosho might give us a completely happy, nothing-goes-awry ending (if he gives us one at all). The entire BO is captured, Conan goes back to being Shinichi and he gets together with Ran.

Sure, it's a given that Gosho will deliver a happy ending (he said it himself), but I feel strongly about something needing to give.. whether that be Haibara or Kogoro or Heiji having to sacrifice their lives to reach that ending, or even Conan being permanently unable to return to his adult form and he'll have to wait some years to catch up to Ran.

Well, no, not really. They did their life and death stakes during clash of red and black and it managed to go according to plan. That's just how it is.

Gosho will probably kill off several BO members (i.e. Gin and more), Vermouth will maybe sacrifice herself to save Ran and/or Shinichi and maybe Akai will die too, these are pretty solid guesses I feel. Is there a need to sacrifice someone? Not really, it could just go all well without bloodshed, like it has been so far.

Given that Gin and Rum aims at finding moles in the organization, I think Kir could die. And like Serinox said , I think Vermouth will maybe sacrifice herself to save Shinichi.

Hard to say for sure, but I guessing possibly not.

I just say that because a lot of the murder victims in the show tend to be outed as morally shady individuals which I thought was done to make the frequent murders less depressing.
