Koshi Inaba, best known as the singer of B'z, will be releasing a new single entitled "Hane" (Feather, 羽) on January 13th. Just prior, the song will premiere as the opening to the Detective Conan anime series on January 9th. This is Koshi's second solo contribution to the series, after "Overture" was used as an ending theme in 2002.

Hmm... I thought this opening will be a yet another crappy one, but it is pretty listenable. Nowhere near the Truth, Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de or Butterfly Core, but still pretty listenable.

The song's not bad, but have yet to grow on me (I'm hoping the ani sequence fixes that). Still, the new Nazo is pretty meh, so I'm looking forward to this one.
When ever I here or read about a new OP or ED, All I care for is the animation, so music comes second, but this one is not bad, yet I will wait for the animation to decide
