It seems La PomPon is going to be doing ending 50. It's going to be a cover of "Unmei no Roulette Mawashite", originally sung by ZARD and used as opening 4. The cover will start being used on January 9th, 2016.

Well, it's about time we got a new ending, but is La PomPon going to do more covers, if more are produced?

Their cover of Nazo was fine, the opening was pretty good, so I'm slightly positive for this one.

It's good for nostalgia tho. Which kinda makes it seem like that's what they're going for

Also, wonder if they'll speed this one up like they did originally :P

The 49th opening most likely won't have lasted as long as the original Nazo which is all that matters in my book.

Closing, you mean, right?

Why couldn't Closing 49 be allowed to surpass Opening 3? Is it just indicative of better quality, and deserved a longer run?

Ye good opening / ending really deserve a longer run ,even if i wasn't a big fan of closing 49 :P

Yeah, closing. Because opening 3 is Nazo and nothing should be allowed to top that (except Truth).

Does anyone recognize who the characters are dressed up as? I can't figure it out and it's driving me nuts.

Ran with glasses is supposed to be Lieutenant Fukui, who is also in the Detective Picture Book of Volume 85. I don't know the others except 24, but these comparison pictures were posted on The Red Thread facebook page:
