okay... let's just say these culprits are anti-villains, i hope so.

Anti-villains are protagonists like Conan or Megure for example.
If I had to name a villain in DC I probably would call only Gin. Neither other deserves this title. Vermouth is too soft and works for both sides, and we don't know anything about the Boss, but I don't think that they're just a mere criminal.

Well you call them antagonists, the ones going against the Story Goal of the protagonist which is solving the case and finding out the culprit of the story (case for Conan).
