I am freaked out by the 13th movie (The Raven Chaser). My friend showed me the trailer and i couldn't help crying a little bit over....well, everything!!!! If Shinich iand Ran die, it will be the worst  anime ending ever!!!! I put this up so other worriers can speak thier thought and be comforted.

Since the manga hasn't developed anything to lead up to the movie or which ties up any loose ends, it would be the worst ending ever. It probably will be anime original filler like move 5, though. Even if whoever beats up Ran is a B.O. member disguised as a regular character she trusts, the real version will show up in the end unharmed, returning from a trip or found locked in a closet or something...

if this movie is BO then they definitely will kill some1, but it doesnt hav to be the characters we know lol

tho i hav a feelin Sato will die (said this quite some time ago too)

it would be pretty funny if the movie actually affected the plot and the anime plot was different from the manga after over 10 years of the plot being the same.

...I have a feeling that this will be the first movie I wish to be canon.

Well, moving back to the realm of reality, have we decided how Gosho is going to weasel out of plot advancement yet?

See, I'm leaning towards disguise no jutsu, just like in episode 345.  But I wouldn't be surprised at grow/shrink antics or even the whole part about Gin finding out just being a stupid dream sequence.

Shinichi/Conan and Ran are not going to die. What would be the point in making this series in the first place if one of those two was going to die in the movie. They will be together in the end.

Actually, I question this assumption of "Gin knew that Conan is Shinichi". Supporting evidences mainly came from the trailer, which include:

1st EVIDENCE: new trailer, first scene: mysterious man (possibly Irish) called, mentioning Shinichi. 2nd scene: Gin on phone, grinning.
COUNTER: this is not enough to assume that Conan's identity is revealed here. There are 2 OTHER possibilities:
1- mysterious man thinks something is fishy of Shinichi's disappearance, and want to investigate. (ie: at this point, he doesn't know YET). Later on, he might know and keep the truth to himself (never had a chance to relay the info to Gin -- since he might get killed or something).
2- mysterious man is calling someone else -- the gin scene is just a cut. Eg: he could be calling Vermouth, who naturally knows Conan = Shinichi anyway and would probably ignore Irish's info (ie: won't relay it to Gin).

2nd EVIDENCE: old trailer, last scene: Gin pointing a gun to Conan
COUNTER: could be dream / disguise. After all we did see someone scanning through wigs in the new trailer.

Finally, in the new trailer, Gin asked: "who are you?". Conan answered: "Edogawa Conan". so Gin didn't know that Conan = Shinichi.

My guess is that the new member (Irish) probably learn that Conan = Shinichi, but will die before he can pass on the info.

well at least I know Ran won't die because Gin and Vodka sux at helicopters : o.

They really should have stuck with bombs, silly B.O.

I don't think any of the main characters will die in the movie. Especially not Satou or Takagi!!!

Agreed. =D There seem to be rare Shinichi/Ran scenes. T.T

hmm.. i think lets wait and see what will be happened.. i think that where going to surprise what will be the outcome of this movie..
