the cute and (missing adjective... same as Haibara, I don't know what adjective to describe why I like them  )

Well, I like both very much but if I HAVE to choose one...

I would say: SHINICHI !!!

shinichi  is the best and if you ask abut haibara I will say shiho to 
I don’t like the  child form

some time i found it Silly to see a child to solve Crimes 

I'm breaking the mold.... I HATE Shinichi as a character. You will recall, first episode, he was a pompous egotistical jerk. However... Kudo, as Conan, I also hate. As stated above, it just isn't right....

I do not consider when Conan returns to his original body, that he is "returning" to being Shinichi. Because he is not. He is really a big version of Conan. When the guy gets his body back, he is no longer a pompous egotistical jerk, no, he is much more humble.

Therefore, I technically like big Conan. This whole situation has benefited him immensely. After this is all over, he will be a far more competent detective, at least I think so.

how dary you talke abut shinichi like that  he is not a jerk it just he fell bord when he is not with someone in the same lvl of Intelligent and Interest(Ran) .

he will not change if you saw ep 193 when he reternd to his adult form he was the same cool guy .

You really need a lesson in reading between the lines... Yes, in the desperate revival arc he still thinks he is better than everyone. But you fail to realize that with the success of the medicine, he thought he was home free. Haibara never mentioned the fact that there was a time limit. That was the first step of his real development, as it was then that he tried to resolve to tell Ran his feelings, but was cut short. He learned not to take anything for granted I'm sure after that blunder.

You'll notice subsequent times he gets his body back hes different each time, more mature, taking less for granted. Its Gosho's cruel hand that prevents him from revealing his feelings to Ran. Also in later times he returned to his body he was less pompous, getting to the point right away, not beating around the bush, or trying to play on to anyone.

Lets look at that: First time, He went out of his way to insult Heiji, there was certainly a better way to say "i'm right, your wrong" but he chose to insult Heiji's integrity. Second time, desperate revival: First he was the same pompous jerk because he thought the medicine worked perfect, so he played to his fans, made the police feel stupid and so fourth. The second time, he started to revert back during his investigation, wanting to tell Ran his feelings he got to the point. Didn't play to anyone but the criminal, but any detective would have done that, I mean really the guy was an idiot. Third time (and final time as far as we know thus far) Kudo is not as pompous here. He reveals the truth, in both cases without the fanfare, showing more maturity than he has before. Never did get time alone with Ran (shame).

Every time he regained his body, he got a bit more maturity. He is changing for the better.  You fail to see it, because you are not taking into account his growth as a person.

BTW... He IS a pompous jerk. He really really is. In the first episode he was so full of himself. He was laughing at himself because he was so popular. Conan isn't because he is a kid, and he was humbled by nearly getting killed (what a way to get knocked off your high horse). By the time we reach the present, he has failed numerous times against the BO, and once without the BO involvement. He is literally forgotten by almost everyone. He is constantly being humbled, and there is no better medicine for a pompous egotistical jerk than failure. Realizing he is not perfect.

Remember his famous quote (paraphrasing) "Idiot, a detective that corners a criminal and allows them to commit suicide is the same as a murderer" Heiji: "Only someone as perfect as you could say that" Conan (inner monologue if i recall) "No... even I once...." [remembers moonlight sonata case]

Note: Also it is not about intelligence, at least not most of the time. He had friends in his school, he's mentioned them before. I'm sure they weren't as intelligent, though probably from soccer mostly. And if it WERE about intelligence, do you honestly think he would even notice Genta? Hell if he was really all about intelligence, then he wouldn't have had one friend as Conan until Haibara was introduced, as she is the only one who is of, as you say, "the same level of intelligence." In fact, if intelligence were indeed the case (excluding his one love Ran, his mother, and clients) the only people he would consort with are Heiji, Yuusaku, Haibara, Kaito Kuroba (so long as he wasn't stealing anything), Hakuba and select police officers (though admittedly he'd deal with them anyway because he wants to become a detective).

Now think about how he has changed over the course of the 686 files of manga, and 530 some episodes. And tell me, honestly you do not see a difference from File 1 (or ep 1) to current. I would find that hard to believe if you don't.

Detective eyes: I'd like to offer you this advice... When making an argument, evidence is needed. Saying "ep 193" is one instance and one look into the character. Any argument needs several pieces of evidence to hold. You can't convict a criminal just because his fingerprints were left at the scene with no other backing evidence that leads back to him. Also, it helps when making an argument to use this great language called "English." It involves capital letters, punctuation, proper spelling (hell most web browsers help with that by having an integrated spell check!(so even if you are not a native speaker, just download an English dictionary to your browser and check the spelling so at least that will be somewhat right)), and proper grammar. If you don't you just sound like an idiot, who is a Shinichi fanboy just because he is a bit "cool."

You missed the whole point...

I mentioned using good grammar and spelling, because otherwise you are not taken seriously. You don't need to be a teacher to tell a person that, especially with that atrocity you previously posted. Seriously man, it's good advice.

I said "all of that" because I was constructing an argument. Something people do when they want to prove a point. If you want proof of concept, head over to the Akai thread in "story discussion," there is a nice exchange between a user named Chekhov and myself. And in the end, believe it or not I conceded, to a degree, to his views, as he made a well founded, well thought out, logical argument. A few points of which I was able to argue, and we came to an impasse where we pretty much both agreed that realistically, there is not enough evidence to draw a definite conclusion.

Furthermore, I called you a fanboy, because you got overly offended at something which is my opinion. That is what really made you seem like a fanboy. Well that and you calling Shinichi "cool" in 193 helped with that as well. Because I feel he completely failed in that episode (and most of the arc in general), and was completely "uncool," to use that word. Let's go over his failures shall we? He failed to keep the DBoys out of trouble, and in the process got shot. He knew people were there, and I'm sure he knew there was a possibility that they would be hostile, and should have proceeded with caution. He nearly told Ran his identity, and if it wasn't for Haibara he would have, and she would have been in danger. He disregarded warning to stay out of the limelight which could have easily led to his demise, along with those involved with him. As well as failing to tell Ran his feelings when he had the chance. With the exception of solving the 2 cases (3 if you include the cave where he passed out right before he was going to reveal the way out), the entire arc was Shinichi/Conan failing.

For my initial statement, I only mentioned the first episode, and I think, a few people would agree, compared to how he is in latter episodes, he was much more pompous and egotistical. And he was really a jerk, he couldn't even comfort Ran when she was crying, instead he said "stop crying" and "these things happen all the time." He could have been more empathetic to her.

As for that last line, I'm not sure if you noticed. But I purposefully did that as an indirect, more polite way of correcting you. Notice how I capitalized and put "nice" into bold font. As you spelled it "nic."

But it is true that Shinichi changed when he turned to Conan. He became aware of others and learned to care for them. Where when he was Shinichi, he was full of himself. Being Conan made him realize that there are more to his life than just himself

But it is true that Shinichi changed when he turned to Conan. He became aware of others and learned to care for them. Where when he was Shinichi, he was full of himself. Being Conan made him realize that there are more to his life than just himself

3 things:
1) That was not my fault, he attacked my opinion, I defended it. He chose to reply in a manner that I felt was really juvenile both in grammar and spelling, so I told him, in not so polite a manner of his shortcomings, because writing like that, does make one look like an idiot.

2) Making an argument /= arguing. They are very different things. You can make an argument, but it can be a very civilized debate, which is what I was trying to do.

3) When ever one is talking about opinions, there is sure to be debate. You can't avoid it, especially when one such as detective eyes right out attacks another person's opinion.

However, if you would like me to kat, I shall delete the past few posts between detective and I. If you want me to, just pm me. It's easier for me that way.

your points were true about Shinichi changing as his time being Conan passes by
that's one reason why i like Conan better ^^
though it's true that they are just one person...

spelling and grammar can be checked but not everyone is good at it, though there's nothing wrong in correcting it 

thanks for the arguments! at least it didn't end in a chaotic manner (well i hope not  )
