I've heard that J-Pop female idols called La Pompon are going to cover Miho Komatsu's "Nazo", which was Conan OP#3 as you all know, as the next opening theme song for this anime series.

Are we certain it's not just a new song that happens to have the same name?

Well, I don't know if it's the same opening but I don't really care, opening 3 was really good, but I wanted the next opening to be done by B'z. I heard their singing, I don't know honestly, I'm afraid they will ruin Nazo.

It would be nice to have somebody verify it.

Well Nazo is probably the most fitting Opening song of the entire series, so this makes sense to me.

If they're going to remake openings then I hope they will do destiny(opening 9) that one was good.

Yup, it's a cover.

Regardless, I found a video of one of their performances. I reeeeeeeeeally hope they sound better in a recording studio where they don't have to move so much. They really messed up a lot of notes, so I'm a bit worried.

I'm surprised that if they're going with a cover it isn't Munedoki.

I wonder if they're going to make new visuals or they're just going to remake the old visuals.

I actually thought the same since it's the first one after all. And, in some countries, it's the most iconic opening.

Maybe they're planning to keep it for the final opening?

"welp, we almost reached the 20th anniversary and we've had 40 OPs already, so that's a good number to stop. Let's start remaking all the OPs and hopefully by the time we redid all 40, the series will be over."
