Oh a Sato and Takagi episode now? Apparently it's Christmas for me!
Ok, so that's technically not the title of this episode. But I don't even know why it isn't. ...this episode title exists. You already did this title. What, is this like when they do the terrible reboot idea of just going with the standard, no number no subtitle fox only final destination title! Why? I don't even understand...
The Detective Boys' going to the home of a stranger to see a better video game weapon is the most realistic kid betrayal in this series. :V
I'm not sure what's better, Haibara just straight up saying it must be an affair, or Sato just casually agreeing with her. That's great.
I legitimately can't tell if that's blood in the flashback or oil. I mean, I can assume what it's supposed to be but nowadays it's the same color. Thanks censorship!
Ok, how many times are you gonna be certain, Conan? "Now I'm really REALLY certain he's the culprit this time!"
I'm not sure I have much to say about the case this time. Cases with only one suspect tend to be the least interesting to me, and this one just didn't have too much that grabbed me. It was just obvious yet complicated.
But Sato and Takagi continue to be the best couple of the series. Takagi immediately taking responsibility is such a bizarre thing. Like, are we sure this is the same guy writing ShinRan nowadays? I mean, obviously it was gonna lead to a joke misunderstanding of an ending, but still, this couple is too good. It's one of those things that makes me think Gosho is aware about ShinRan's problems, which is something I really hope is true. Because otherwise, it's really weird how this is done by the exact same writer at the same time in the same series. Also I should point out, the Sato casually mentioning an affair line is so obviously Sato joking, and it makes me like them more. They're probably that comfortable with each other, dawwwww. : DDDDDDDD
