I went through this forum a noted that while we all have brilliant headcanons about many many aspects of Detective Conan, there's not thread to collect them. So I decided to make one.

I just put some rules:

1. This is no place for debate if the headcanon is right or wrong because those are just opinions. So no ShinRan-AiCon shipping wars please.
2. No large theories, for those create your own thread. (By 'Large' I mean things such as the identity of middle brother or mystery child)
3. No established facts (like Amuro's hair color since Gosho has already said its originally brown)
4. No little details (like Shinichi doesn't like raisins) unless they are reasonably explained.(See Sonoci's post below)
5. No 'I don't like this or that character'. That isn't a headcanon.
6. Smaller theories are welcome, like the identity of the two shadow people in the car during the Dark and Cluttered Room case(chapters 417-419)

Otherwise the stage is yours. Feel free to discuss with others about their headcanons but seriously, no bashing. And feel free to back your headcanons with snippets from canon.

I go first.

Kir and Chianti are actually quite good friends in the Organization. They regullary meet up and possibly bitch about Vermouth.

Vodka has feelings for Vermouth. So did Calvados.

Gin is actually poor, he probably spend all his money on his Porsche 356a. After all, classic cars are expensive to own and maintain. However since Gin is an important operative, he will probably just use BO cash to maintain the car.

Agasa actually makes a lot more gadget than Conan is aware of. He may in fact be making a lot of money by making gadgets unknowingly for Kaito Kid or even the Black Organisation, after all it has been hinted in a magic kaito episode that some gadgets used for a heist are made by a "Professor" who drives a yellow beetle.

*putting on my tinfoil hat*Numerous BO members, notably Gin, drive flashy cars. Only if the FBI would cooperate with the Japanese law enforcement, tracking those exotic car like Gin's Porsche 356a should be a walk in the park and hence track him down and find evidence to arrest him or at least get a better hold of BO's activity. However so far the three known governmental organisations that are investigating BO, CIA,FBI and the PSIA do not show any signs of cooperation. Assuming if their only goal is to arrest the bad guys, cooperating should not be that difficult considering the fact that USA and Japan are allies. Therefore I assume the reason why they did not cooperate is because the organisation has valuable data and research programs that they only want for themselves, such as the APTX 4869 poison which is perfect for assassinating political enemies.

Calvados was like a brother to Chianti who numerous times warned him not to fall on Vermouth. He also was Korn's closest associate with Chianti.

Toichi, Yusaku and Heizo could've formed a great 'Troll-parent' trio.

Kogoro is a closet-otaku like proven in the Kid's teleportation trick heist.

Instead of reading normal children's books to Shin'ichi at a young age, Yuusaku instead read murder mysteries to him, quizzing him occasionally. On the flipside, Yukiko would use the children's books...but she'd act them out instead.

I guess this is something little. But to me a headcanon is a headcanon.

If that was canon, that would honestly not be surprising in the slightest. XD

As I personally find the "little detail" headcanons to be the most interesting, could I propose a sub-clause to this rule? So something like:

"No little details without some sort of explanation/reason as to why"

With this addition, something like "Shinichi doesn't like raisins" would still not work (since it doesn't have an explanation/reason), but instead someone could say "Shinichi doesn't like raisins because Ran convinced him at a young age that they were "murdered" grapes and his high strung morality made him paranoid about it" (or something, the raisins thing isn't a headcanon of mine so I didn't have an actual reason xD)

Thoughts on my proposition? o:

Hmm... you are right. At first I wanted to avoid nit-picking on every single thing because that can happen too. But yeah, you're right. I'll edit it now.

Hmmm... I've got a ton for the Mouri family.

Kisaki Eri was a prosecutor, but got laid off when she got pregnant with Ran. She hated being a stay-at-home mom so much that it strained her marriage. Then Kogorou cheated on Eri. That was the last straw for her. She moved out and set up shop as a defense attorney. Kogorou quit being a cop and became a PI so he could be a stay-at-home dad for Ran.

Kogorou is slowly recovering from clinical depression. He self-medicates with alcohol, and when we first meet him, he can barely take care of himself; in fact, Ran is taking care of him. Now he's able to work; his relationship with Eri is improving; we see him drinking less, and he's less violent with Conan.

Yukiko and Yusaku have an open marriage. Yukiko wants to add Akai to her roster.

Sera is genderfluid. Furuya Rei is gay. Vermouth is genderfluid and pansexual. Dr. Araide's affection for Ran was actually Vermouth's. Vermouth will probably kill another BO member to keep Ran safe. Yukiko has slept with Vermouth.

Yusaku, Yukiko, and Vermouth know the identity of the original Kaitou KID. They used their knowledge to blackmail disguising-lessons out of him.

Yukiko and Yusaku keep in touch with Chikage, and often meet in the US. They're actually helping her help her son in his quest for justice.

Vermouth and Yukiko learned their disguise art from Kaito KID, but Kaitou KID, Kaito, and Kaitou Corbeau all learned from Kuroba Chikage - the Phantom Lady.

Since Aoko hugged the Kaito-balloon during the movie, Aoko already knows that Kaito is Kaitou KID, but she has plausible-deniability, so she keeps her mouth shut. She does, however, subtly tell Kaito that she thinks what he's doing is wrong when she rants about KID.

The heist where KID disguises as Suzuki Sonoko didn't happen. It's actually Sonoko's fanfic.

Not sure if this really counts, but I think it does because it's not something that is in DC (or MK) canon (and it probably most likely never will be)

My headcanon is that Akako and Heiji would make a good pair (and while I mean romantically, also platonically). My reasoning is that I wrote a fic years ago where they ended up interacting and it just naturally happened that they got closer. Heiji's hotheadness + minor obliviousness when it comes to ladies made for a good foil to Akako's self-centeredness and ego. Them interacting ironically made both of them tone down their haughtiness and develop a sort of odd respect for each other.

Akako ships KaiHaku.

And Ai ships KaiShin.
