Sounds really exciting! Can't wait to see it! :)

I had an idea that you guys could find a CAM release of the movie so you could have it already translated by the time the DVD comes out. Imagine having the DCTP's subbed movie released in a day or 2 of the DVD release!

Then again, I don't know if they make CAM releases of movies in Japan like they do here in the US...  :'(

Thanks for the translation, Miyano-sama! :)

Sounds like a fun movie, but the mahjong tiles bug me.  The BO would never so openly kill someone and leave a clue that it's a serial murderer or an organization.  However, this does seem like it'll be a huge showdown, so hopefully the movie's up to par with the better movies...

Thanks for the translation!

agreed, it would be more likely BO is involved in this because the killer must be somehow related to BO.

or this could be BO's plan to place the police in complete chaos - since all the 'important' police figures has gathered in one place.

id be rely pissed if they somehow screw this up.

The mahjong tile in question is the seven of circles/stones.

The positioning of the spots on the mahjong tile brings to mind the big and little dippers. I wonder if that's relevant.... we can't tell I suppose until the movie starts.
Thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks so much for the translation Miyano!
(lol at Korn being Colon)

That was a totally fine romanization since the R and L are ambiguous and K can become the hard English C. I must say though I would be hesitant to drink any beverage whose name is a synonym for the large intestine. Wikipedia says Korn is a German spirit that is made from wheat, rye, or barley. Korn differs from vodka in that it is less rigorously filtered, which leaves more of the cereal taste in the finished spirit. I'll leave it at as exercise to the reader to find out if Korn tastes different than a colon. :P

Maybe the B.O. and the Police are going after the same criminal.

i don't think the B.O. is behind the serial murders.

they don't leave clues when they kill someone

Thank you for the translation! Sounds fun.

Somehow I feel that the organization wouldn't know of Conan being Shinichi. Maybe there would be an encounter, but maybe someone would appear dressing up as Shinichi and create a distraction. (eg: Heiji or Kid). Or that scene of Gin and Conan in the trailer might just be in Conan's or Haibara's dream...

In any case, can't wait for April!
