It looks really lame. They will probably make the BO look like any other evil organization and the storyline will be lame as well. I also watched all subbed episodes until episode 526 and the art style is terrible. This isn't Detective Conan anymore. Now it looks like any other Anime show  . Why Gosho? Why?  Don't let them ruin Detective Conan!

Why do you think the upcoming DC film is lame, when it hasn't even come out yet? This movie I think will be one of the best, if not, the best DC film. I don't really care about the art style in the anime, just as long as I keep seeing new DC episodes and as long it's getting good ratings, I'm happy; however, it certainly got better in Episode 528. Every art style has there moments, like DBZ for example, it usually changes over time.

I like the new art style. I think it is more refined and detailed, and better reflects the characters' expressions and individuality. The newer style also has more detailed backgrounds and more complex shots (like moving past a building in perspective). Overall, it has become clearer without sacrificing plot for visuals. Don't forget that Gosho's art style has changed over the course of the manga and that has been reflected in the anime. It's fine to be nostalgic but the nostalgia alone is not an adequate argument for why something is better or worse. I can assure you that DC's art style is definitely quite different from other anime's, especially the people. Compare them side by side to see what I mean.
As for the movie I am cautiously optimistic. I'm not expecting a Studio Ghibli-esque masterpiece, but even the recent detective Conan movies (which people on this forum seem to be liked less than the earlier ones) are better than your average manga/anime --> movie fare. It's a bit silly to be pessimistic about a movie that hasn't even come out yet. That said, I'd avoid getting overhyped up about the movie because that's setting yourself up for a disappointment.
