I always love the code related cases and I like going to interesting locations. Unless it's all Japanese puns or something. The ending scene was actually way more effective than most of the recent "I killed him because he did a bad thing" endings.
Honestly, I vastly prefer when Kogoro doesn't treat Conan as some dumb kid and actually takes what he says seriously. It makes them and Ran into some kind of team, which does a lot to make cases more interesting to me instead of "oh look, Kogoro doesn't know what he's talking about! Better solve everything by myself!" That was easily one of the best parts of the London case.
Number of songs from 2007 soundtrack: 1

That may make sense as to why when I watched 735:
Followed by the episode abruptly ending and the next episode being unreleated to that remark...had me going

until I also remembered movie 18.

As I said before (on another thread or something), it was ok. I liked the ending, but at the same time I didn't? :V
I liked it because

It was different. I didn't like it because, tbh the whole thing was kinda meh. They ran to the tower, searched for the lady, found her and it ended. No one did anything the whole episode.

I disagree. ...I don't necessarily disagree that much of the episode was kinda meh, but it still worked. Still infinitely preferable to just doing a boring, lame, generic version of Gosho's own work. I mean granted, while it didn't do this in a way where I cared that much, it still worked. It's a simple, semi-heartwarming story about a girl who got some perspective on her life at the last second that convinced her to not ruin her own life by taking someone else's, and the how and why are a genuine "aw!" moment. Considering the series' themes and Conan's opinion on murder, it is the type of story a 700+ episode series like this should tell at some people. ...though I'm certain this isn't the first time they've done something like that.
If it's hurt by anything, it's the curse of trying to care about one-off characters.
also, let's be honest...how much do some of these characters actually do on average? Especially in AOs?

It was an okay AO. Like Kkslider5552000 stated, it was nice for a change to not have the typical "killing due to whatever reason" episode.
I'm also glad that they had so many small connecting points to the movie, such as the Sky Tree, the Komagatabashi bridge and the last scene after the credits.
Overall I found it a nice 'connecting' episode.
Also, am I completely out of my mind when I say that I feel like I've seen this before (or something very similar at least) in another epiode or manga chapter?

She knows that. Sunny's just saying it looks familiar.

Reminds me of the OVA with Agasa's full of puns treasure hunt. Also with Young Shinichi and Ran solving a puzzle by old Kid.
