'Rain Man' by Akihide.

Personally... Eh, the singer isn't bad, but the song just doesn't do anything for me. It's just... there.

Yay! Young Shinichi and Ran It sorta feels like "As the Dew" because of Ran under the umbrella. Especially at 0:58. :x
Other than that, not much to say. It's better than the last one.

Considering that this is the guitarist from Breakerz in the first place, that does say a lot about Daigo, doesn't it?

It does indeed. It confirms he's a singer whose voice makes you want to become deaf.

Not quite Breakerz level, but still it's decent!

Singer's voice is kinda meh, but the music turned out to be better than I expected (not that it's excellent or something, but it's okayish). Loved the animation!

I agree. The song is ok, but it feels bit forced for the singer, particularly once it hits the "aitakute" notes. It's almost as if song was written for someone else.

I do like the animation, especially the quick flashbacks of Ran and Shinichi (love the shot of Shinichi holding umbrella over most-likely defeated Ran at 1:12. Was that ever in an episode?)


If they are going to be using this ending through out June episodes, it's perfect, considering it's the rain (tsuyu) season in Japan.

I don't think so. There was a Shin-Ran moment regarding umbrellas after the closing song of movie 11 but nothing else comes to mind.

Maybe AKIHIDE wrote it with DAIGO in mind to sing it?

Maybe... as long as he doesn't use a truckload of auto tune again.

Obviously the guy doesn't have a very wide vocal range. It's OK, though. Animation's fun.
