I don't have a lot of time on my hands, so I'd like to get everyone's opinions on the really stand out episodes, movies and OVAs.  I also think it's an interesting topic to discuss as it is purely based on opinion, but we can also get some of the great episodes in the one thread.

I've seen all the OVAs and Movies (except 1 and 2, the ones without Haibara xD) but I'd still like people's opinions on them.

For me, my favourite movie would have to be...Phantom of Baker Street (6). Followed closely by Countdown to Heaven (5) and Private Eyes' Requiem, though Crossroad in the Ancient Capital is a close 4th. However, I think that movies 3 - 10 are all amazing!

OVA 3 and as for episode, probably 345, then Agasa's First Love Part 2. I love episodes where there isn't too much pressure put on them to solve a murder. Finally...Trembling Metropolitan Police Headquarters 12 Million Hostages (Episode 304).

Please name a definitive top 3 for each (movie, episode and OVA) as naming too many would devalue the purpose of this.

But feel free to discuss more.

my favorite movie is the 8 with kaitou kid! I love it!  and, when ran lost her memory and....
the number 6, that is soooo coool!
my favorite ova is the.... I don't know the number but it's when the police officer takes shinichi and ran and friends xD to his summer house and heiji brokes the wine xD I love that to  I think I don't have another favorite ova..
and the episode....mmm....I KNOW! the teleportation! the return of shinichi! and  I think the first episode, I like it so much.

Hm...

Movies:

1. Movie 1 ; it is weird but this is the only movie I could watch almost anytime

I like it because it was close to the "real" Detective Conan feeling, it has a very nice Shinichi-Ran moment, some nice action scenes and real excitement

2. Movie 4 ; the first DC movie I've ever seen,

I like it, because that was the fisrt movie I saw, but also the case was interesting, they gave real hints, unlike in recent movies, where I was just "huh? that was a clue?" Both the Haibara-Conan and Shinichi-Ran scenes were fine, in addition the music was very nice too

3. Movie 7

Movie 7 was once again a bit more romantic. I like Heiji's fighting scenes, and Shinichi as Heiji and the introduction to Kyoto. And chibi-Kazuha was extreamly cute. Though I watched it with horrible subs it was still enjoyable, and Time after time is a top favourite song *___*

OVA:

1. Conan vs. Kid vs. Yaiba

It is funny. And funny. Oh, and funny. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was hilarious. XD

2. 14 suspects (or what was the title)

It was nice. It was romantic. And it was funny.

3. none, I disliked the others I watched 3 and 4 and probably five but they were fishy and less interesting.

Episodes:

1. Desperate Revival cases (epi 188-193) great cases, it was very-very cool and good

The opening and ending was perfect for these episodes. The story wasn't overreacted, even the Detective Boys was cool in it. And teh scenes with Ai. And the scenes with Heiji. And with Shinichi. And with Ran. And the 3 cases were very good too. These  episodes are far beyond the Shiragami(Or Shirigami? nvm) epis.

2. Halloween Party (345) the title speaks for itself.

If there can be something called epic in DC, this case is! It is main plot related, there is a huge countdown, many things turn out, the setup is just brilliant (h Heiji is there too ) the masks and everything. No episode (except Desp. Rev. ones, but it is actually a tie) can beat ths one. Not even Shuichi's recent ones. And nice opening there.

3. I have tons of favourites... hm... I'll go with Shinichi's first case, The Flying Locked Room and the Golden Apple case both were brilliant, nice and...simply great

The Flying Locked Room was once again a Shinichi case, it was very well thought.
The Golden Apple hadmany extras besides the cool case, so... yeah

Episode: 174 - The Truth of the 20th Year: The Symphony Serial Murders (2-Hour Special)
I'm not going to write an essay, but... the characters and their history together, the murder, the Heiji, how the soundtrack fits so perfectly, and the pwnage at the end... Plus, it's feature-length.

Movie: 3 - The Last Wizard of the Century
I'm a Kid fan, and the mystery around who would find Conan's identity was a fun sideplot. Most of the movies have very cheesy endings... I found 3's the least ridiculous.

OVA 4 - Conan, Kid, and the Crystal Mother
Arguably the best overall OVA and not just my favorite. I think its only competitor is OVA 2, but there's not a real criminal in it.

Movies:

1-  Case Closed: The Time-Bombed Skyscraper .

I like it because it was the first movie i saw and i agree with MR.Misztina  abut (real" Detective Conan feeling)  yes and if you see it you fell like if (Gosho Aoyama write the movie) .

2- Detective Conan: Captured in Her Eyes .

I LIKE IT NONONONON I LOVE IT I THINK IT IS THE BEST CONAN MOVIE I EVERY AND WILL NEVER SEE BETER THAN IT WHY ^_^ IT WAS PERVERCT THE DRAWING WAS COOL THE STORY WAS GREAT THE USE OF THE CHAREACTER WAS GREAT , THE ACTION WAS GREAT AND THE BOTH THE ROMANTAC scenes SHINIHCIX SHIHO , SHINICHIXRAN WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT I CANT STOPE SAYING IT WAS GREAT ^_^.

Episodes:

1- Episode 48-49 this episode was Heiji's first apperr and shinichi first came back i rembere that i saw this on VHS ( in arabic my langue) and it touch my Heart it was sooo Amazing in drawing in everything in general if i got bord with the new chapters in manga or new episodes in anime i came back and see this one (أجدد العهد) .

2- Episode 129.130.176.177.178 i love these becase this was the time that i fole in love with shiho (haibara) this great character that make the manga and the anime more fun and when she reter to her adult form i was Shocked by her Beauty (><) you can say that when shinichi back to his adult form and shiho back to her adult form are one of the best Moments in manga and anime .

3- i like every Episode that Gin is on it ^_^ and belmont.


OVA : i hate everyone of them .

Movies:
1) Movie 3: Last Wizard of the Century
---I just really enjoyed the plot of this movie. It was very entertaining and it was nice to have Kaitou Kid be one of the central characters.
2) Movie 1: The Time Bombed Skyscraper
---Again, a very exciting plot and it worked so well as a movie. I love the subplot surrounding Shin'ichi's birthday and Ran's present.
3) Movie 4: Captured in Her Eyes
---Gotta love the Shin'ichi x Ran moments throughout this movie as well as Conan x Ai. Hopefully amnesia will not be used anymore on main characters though. (Even though the most recent case involving amnesia with a main character technically wasn't a main character but still...) The use of amnesia does need to go away. =w=

Episodes:
1) Episode 11: Moonlight Sonata Murder Case
---The story was just so interesting to me and the ending was heartbreaking. Poor Shin'ichi.
2) Episode 76: Conan vs Kaitou Kid
---Introduction of my favorite character! It was really fun seeing this manga story animated and I just love Kaito's personality. :3 (And I'm a sucker for Kappei Yamaguchi's voice.)
3) Episode 48/49: Diplomat Murder Case
---(I'm counting these as one since it IS the same story) Introduction of everyone's favorite ahou! I thought the trick the murderer used was very unique and it was exciting since this was the first time Conan reverted back to Shin'ichi. The scene in 49 where Shin'ichi reappears is just fantastic. (And again, I'm a sucker for Kappei Yamaguchi's voice.)

OVAs:
1) OVA 4: Conan, Kid, and the Crystal Mother
---This one just had a really nice plot to it and it was great to see Aoko included alongside Kaito. (Even if she was asleep for most of it. xD;; )
2) OVA 1: Conan vs Kid vs YAIBA
---It was interesting to see an original Magic Kaito story converted to include Conan and give an explanation for the crossover in the first place. (Although why Kaito would think Pandora would be in a sword in the first place is beyond me. Although I guess he would've tried stealing it just to say he could?)
3) OVA 2: 16 Suspects
---Just an entertaining story containing a good chunk of the main cast. (Poor Heiji. xD;; )

for movie: 8, 10 and 11
for episode: 460 and 471
as for ova: 345, 495-504 (these are the cases about mizunashi rena revealed as a CIA agent) and 521-523 ("the return of kudo shinichi")

Top 3 Episodes: (It's really hard to pick just 3. Almost every single case is amazing; and I generally LOVE all the story arcs, especially the Clash of Red and Black. But I had to pick 3, so here they are.)
- Episode #345 (Vermouth!!!)
- Episode #129 (Haibara's grand entrance! )
- Episode #11 (The Moonlight Sonata Murder Case.)

Top 3 OVA's:
- OVA #4 (Kiddo-sama!!! <3)
- OVA #7 (Cute little CoAi moments. lol)
- OVA #1 (Yaiba! )

Top 3 Movies:
- Movie #5 (The only one, until now, about the BO and Haibara... Can't wait for the 13th though.)
- Movie #12 (Music is my weakness.)
- Movie #3 (Great plot.)

Top 3 DC Movies
1.) Movie 5: Countdown to Heaven
xx This movie was awesome. I really loved the last part (The countdown part). This movie was just thrilling and filled with action-packed scenes as well as funny ones. :3
2.) Movie 12: Full Score of Fear
xx I liked the cute little scenes. There were some, as far as I can remember.
3.) Movie 1: Time bombed Skycraper
xx It's the first one I've watched, and I really liked it that time. The plot was nice, imo.

Top 3 DC OVAs
1.) OVA 7: "A Written Challenge from Agasa! Agasa vs Conan & the Detective Boys"
xx The cute scenes of Conan and Ai are love. :3
3.) "Conan and Kid and the Crystal Mother"
xx Kaito and Aoko appeared! Kaito is one of my favorite characters, after all.


Top 3 DC Episodes
1.) Episode 345: "Head-to-Head Match With the Black Organization; Two Mysteries of the Night of the Full Moon"
xx This episodes's amazing. It's filled with suspense and cool scenes.
2.) Episode 304 : "Trembling Metropolitan Police Headquarters 12 Million Hostages"
xx Same reason with Episode 345. These two really are one of the best episodes in DC. xD
3.) Episode 230-231: The Mysterious Passenger
xx Love the ConanxAi scenes. This episode is win.

I liked most of those OVAs/Movies/Episodes because there are some ConanxAi scenes in them. (Obsessed CxA fan)
