I'm always here for more Conan and we haven't had a special in a long time so they have my blessing (not that they needed it). Hopefully, Gosho is at least involved a bit someway or another.

So is this like the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, but with Conan characters? Because I'd be more than ok with that.

Exactly what I was thinking.

So if we go the Haruhi route, the ending song of this special should be a 4 minutes song with only the vocalist without any instruments. For the singer, I suggest Daigo.

Break? But when does the special even air? This seems to be an announcement for an announcement to me. I don't think they would have a tentative name if it airs next week.

It's the eighth of january today, does someone know if we have a trailer or a teaser for this anime special?

More details revealed regarding this special : it will be a 2h special which will air on NTV this autumn. It will be written by Kenji Uchida who's 'A Stranger of Mine' in 2005 earned him a few awards at the Cannes Film Festival.
