If I were Shinichi, I would tell Ran the truth now.

So, Ran practically figured it out until Shinichi decided to do some extensive coverups. But really, Ran can keep her mouth shut and will (hopefully) have fewer mood swings as a result of knowing that Conan is Shinichi. It is about time Conan stopped being such a coward.

 I would not call him a coward considering I think not telling her is alot more stressfull, but at this point I think it could go either way.  If you know Ran knows that your really Shinichi then you tell her I think.  If your identity is still a secret you dont.  At least thats what I think.

Or the alternative: Call Ran to Tropical Land with Shinichi’s voice, show up as Conan, explain everything, get beat up by Ran, obviously, hope for the best, and then run for life.

Poor, poor Conan. Everyone’s going to die by Ran’s wrath eventually. xD

If Ran did knew about Shinichi's identity, then i guess she would probably accuse him for keeping the secret a long time and then probably ignore him.....and then Shinichi tells this to Ai and then poor Ai has to come up with an idea and then on the other hand Sonoko comes along and try to get them back together....*__*

Well I think if Shinichi knew Ran almost got killed once he would probably tell her (but he was unconcious at the time).  From his knowledge, Ran is safer blindfolded in the bear pit.

Actually I think if Shinichi tells her, she'll cry, then dump him... (DON'T KILL ME!!! I'M NOT DONE YET!!!)... for a short time...(see? told ya. )...then get back together with him again. It'll be more dramatical that way, with Conan all depressed and then with Ran apologizing.

I think if he tells her she's going to be hurt, and question why he didn't tell her sooner, I mean I know he doesn't want her to worry but it looks to me that that is going to happen either way.  She is going to worry that you got your self killed, or she is going to worry that your going to get yourself killed, kinda a lose-lose situation there.  Just keeping her in the dark is only going to get her feelings hurt more.

I picture it this way though, if he tells her we are going to see pages and pages and episode after episode of nothing but ran fighting with herself emotionally about the whole thing I mean to be honest about her response to this it would take quite a few chapters and I'm not sure we want that, but we won't want a fast no emotional reaction either... that is if this were to happen before some kind of big ending climax. I mean if we see it at the ending nothing would really need to be explained and she would just accept everything and we would buy it.

Of course who knows maybe she already knows and is just a really really good actress ( I hope not!)
