Detective Conan the anime's sound

By sound in general, I mean voices and music. First of all, I prefer the Chinese dub over the Japanese dub. I think it's because it's kinda traditional already for Japanese anime characters to have ridiculous voices and for old men to be hoarse or shout unnecessarily. If you haven't heard the Chinese dub, you should listen to it, even if you don't understand it. Kogoro, Ran, Haibara, Conan, the Detective Boys all have better voices.

The music is good, especially when he solves cases and, as I read in another thread, it goes something like "doo doo doo doooo...do do doo doo do do....doo doo doo doo do doo doo doo dooooooo do...do do". However, since I've only seen the Chinese dub on Chinese TV when I was there, the opening credits and the song was always the same, and apparently it has changed several times since then? (Confirm please). Does anyone know the song's name, or the OST I should download, because I have a very small amount of downloads left and I want to save it for watching Conan.

Cheers! And please discuss the voices/music must the way music is edited to make it feel more suspenseful. This sounds stupid but watching Conan at night sometimes gives me the creeps.

there is a difference between opinion and making no sense

my current favorite example of this Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Many people consider the game very dissapointing, which is an opinion. But I know some people who say the game sucks. Those people are wrong. In other words, it's still an opinion, but I find that opinion to be absurd.

I find it impossible to believe that a voice actress for Conan exists that is better than Minami Takayama.

pleas don't start  with "ahh this voice is better" because theirs a way for that little phrase to spiral out in to a huge flame war for nothing. Everyone enjoys DC how ever they like English dub ,sub, germin ect

Haha I'm interested in the Chinese dub as well (not mandarin), I remember watching it when I was little, it'll be very nostalgic!

Well if not the voices, how about the music then?  There is a different sound from the old episodes, the new epidosodes, and the movies.  Personally I like them all, though I don't like how they mastered some of the new ones.

I started watching Conan in spanish over ten years ago and I really enjoyed it, despite the weird names they had and that I thought didn't fit the characteres, the voices were actually good, but then again I haven't seen it in ten years so if I did now I might find them annoying  ;D

...
not Mandarin = Cantonese?
I myself watched a little of the Mandarin dub and can't get used to Kogoro not having a gruff voice :P

I think the "good" dubs must be the Cantonese editions because in the Mandarin version, everybody sounds like they are voiced by 30 year-old males.  Okay maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but not much.

Yay! :) Thank you.

The best thing about Cantonese dubs, is that you don't need to change the characters' names. You just need to read the kanji. ;)
