I can't decide...if I could get in Gosho's mind I'll tell you how he plans to wrap up Haibara. I just hope it'll be fair because she's an amazing character.

Haibara disappears at the end and repeats what Sato said after erasing a certain mail (except replace Matsuda with Conan =P)

What did Sato say?

I think if she has a choice she'd stay as Haibara with Agasa. If she's forced to revert to Shiho, I'm not sure what she'd do. It probably depends on a lot of things we can't really predict yet. (Like whether a lot of the Org. survives the end, whether Shin'ichi still finds her culpable for working with the Org., whether she decides that she is culpable for her dealings with the Org., whether she's really under 20 years old...)

So what? It's not like Haibara to be embarrassed over matters as her real age...even if she was really 80...
And I'm surprised a lot of people are voting for option 3, it's the least imaginative and just corny

Funny how some people seem to enjoy mixing up certain "important" stuff...
Ever watched episode 178??? Does this look like an 80 year-old?
Why would Haibara lie about her age? Sorry but that's non-sense.
She's
18, so yeah, that's under 20.
And I think it's quite obvious that Conan had forgiven Haibara and stopped considering her as "the bad girl working for the bad guys". She was
forced to make that drug and admitted regretting it despite of her cold character, and Conan's smart enough to understand that.
Edit: I voted for the 2nd option, because I do think that Gosho-sensei will make Haibara die in the end. But as of my favorite ending, I'd like to see Haibara moving on (probably with Agasa as her adoptive father) to another country, far away from everyone else, and live happily ever after (probably after finding a special someone that's worth being loved). ^^

I tear up when I just think about that...but sadly it's very likely. My fav end for Ai would be joining the FBI as Shiho (to marry Akai - ofcourse!

) and reveal her past to her friends to get it off her chest.

I think after all the misfortune she's gone through, killing her would be unfair. Some characters in some shows are fit to die, but she really isn't. Someone from her family (namely her father, who I think is the most likely to still be alive) has to come back at some point.
That being said, I don't want her ending to be perfectly happy.

I thought Haibara's dad was insane...trying to revive the dead and all that. Maybe him being alive will cause her more torment.

I think some of that isn't (or will revealed not to be) true. At least I hope so. If that's not the case, then maybe her mother. Akemi is definitely dead though.

She would turn back to her self (Shiho) again and - out of conscience - will tell the police her role in the B.O.
Conan/Shinichi would do everything in his ability to help her avoid arrest (given she has realized her mistake and been willing to start over).
Shiho then would resume her role as a prominent scientist, this time is to help develop good inventions that'll profit mankind
...

Pah, what's with the limited choices?
At the very least she will become "Dr. Watson" to Shinichi's "Sherlock Holmes."

(Probably more if you are into the Ai-Conan pairing

)
She already has her medical degree, and is the best assistant to Shinichi out of all the characters. (Hattori Heiji doesn't count since he is more of a "Hercule Poirot" basically another great detective in another area)

18, it's
about 20.
Otherwise, I don't see why Haibara would lie about her age. Why would she pretend to be 18 when she's actually 20? There's almost no difference since she can still get arrested even if she's 18.

I completely agree. But for many reasons, I doubt G.A. will let her live. I hope I'm wrong.
