As I haven’t watched the movie, I’m not sure whether I got all the names right. Feel free to correct my translations if you spot a mistake.

Though I can’t discern any obvious similarities, I hope that there will be one or two self-covers from the seventh movie. After practically its entire soundtrack was blatantly ignored at the time, new versions could help the tunes find their way into the series after all.

Another year another hope for a good OST is relit. I am interested in hearing Kogoro's/Heiji&Kazuha's themes and something like Tea Time At Night. Hopefully they took some inspiration from the instruments used in Mai Kuraki's song for this one.

Afaik it is Uta-garuta, a common way to play the card game Karuta, where the cards in the deck are filled with Waka poems from the Hyakunin Isshu (which Momiji is a master of).
