I don't get what's the thing with high places in about every single DC movie... Don't belive me? Just let's take a look:

1. Like the title says: skyscraper about to be bombed
2. They go to the top of the restaurant that'll collapse later in the finale.
3. Tsuutenkaku.
4. The iceslide thing in the finale.
5. Two tall buildings+sportscar=flying in an insane stunt.
6. Ran jumping off the moving train that was riding on the edge of a cliff/on a bridge
7. Not that much but Heiji did swordfight on a roof and Conan did use arrows shot on a wall to get higher and then kick that soccer ball of his.
8. Second half of the movie in an aeroplane.
9. hmm... I should probably watching this again but the ship was quite tall.
10. Conan falling a top of a bridge, Genta's pass to the amusement park stuck on the rollercoaster
11. Can't I just skip this one? I haven't bothered to watch this again.
12. I think something was going on in this one too... Oh well, helicopter was used.
13. Tokyo Tower. Do I need to say more?
14. Airship. The whole frigging movie in an airship.
15. The dam and the heights when conan in creating the avalanche.
16. Stopping the billboard from falling.
17. Ran falls off the ship. Ouch. Conan soccers the spy that is on a higher level than him.
18. Bell Tree Tower and the pipe tricks...
Lupin: Saving Emilio and Ran's lifes. Probably one of the insanest things ever and Ran and Sonoko just shrug it off. Oh and the plane things.
Oh, and if you want to take the Lupin special in this one... Conan hitching a ride on the wheel of the air plane.

Do I need to say anything else? Do I?

I think it's because movies tend to have some more advanced scenery and are more action-packed(sometimes unnecessarily), things happening in high places can provide both a more interesting perspective as well as plenty of opportunity to insert over-the-top action sequence
