I completely agree! She has such a deep and mysterious past. I want to know more about Shiho's time in the BO! She definitely has the enough development to outshine most DC characters. She is one of the most important characters in DC. Her family was part of the BO, Akai got connections in the BO because of her, Gin has a weird obsession over her.....etc

Yep... Like they'll need her to go back and finish her research... Maybe the Gas chamber was just a bluff, if she didn't escape, they might have pull her out of that gas chamber and "make" her finish the work... since BO could just shoot her like how they kill her sister... why goes through the trouble of locking her up...
In other words, It's possible the BO might capture her once again, then the "Boss" is going to call and tell them to let Sherry finish her research first! *What ever it is I wanna know too!*
p.s. Argh! It bugs me so much! Even if it's just one volume, I NEED to know Haibara Past stories! Her sister, her parents, her life in America and how she develops that drug!

ooooo as u say it it sounds interesting! actually Shiho was put in the gas chamber until the person from above decided what to do with her. She assumed she'd be killed and took the APTX. they said "that person" mentioned that Akemi's sister was too valuable....so Akemi still lived even though her boyfriend was found to be in the FBI. Eventually Akemi was killed. So the hesitation to kill Shiho was due to her importance to the BO.

I don't like it at all. Conan is the type to try and do everything on his own and goes out of his way to not get other people involved. I couldn't see him purposely using someone as bait, unless he talked said plan over and the other person agrees to it. To secretly do so just makes him mean, imo.

I seriously think the Boss is related to her in some way. what if it's her grandfather? that would be crazy! He has to be older because members like Pisco have been serving him for years. I wonder why they sent Shiho away too and not her sister. Maybe she and Akemi don't have the same mother......but the same father, because Akemi looks Japanese and Shiho looks mixed to me...I think they have different mothers, but Elena took care of Akemi like her own child. Maybe thats what her mother told her at the tape. She told her only cause she´s "old enough to understand", so it must be a very serious theme. But well, everything is possible until Gosho show us his version.^^

that's what i was wondering also!!!why did they send her in USA and not akemi(i think it's because she's a genius and not akemi,but if she's useless,they would have kill her )
