Since ShinRan's the probable final pairing, I hope AiConan intensifies to the extent that when Ran speculates Conan = Shinichi, she feels extremely jealous of Ai... especially when Ai makes her move and kisses Conan on the cheek (with a wicked "You're mine" grin )

Whether it's Conan x Ai, or Shinichi x Shiho, doesn't matter at all either way.. We win this 10 years full of hardship if any of those 2 pairings make out in the end..

They are both same person aren't they ? it just that Conan x Ai pairing are more cute than their adult version (Moe factor ?  )

@ AICHAN = If you asked me, as a genuine and hardcore fans of Haibara, i would support this couple till my last breath.. We might lose the war if gosho decided to step on our hope, but we still win the fight since Haibara got more dominance and fan base throughout the entire DC story..

yeah you're right ! even if gosho want to break our hopes,i know that haibara is one of the most pupular character in dc ,always in the top 3 (she could even have her own serie ) sometimes i think that ai doesn't need to be paired with someone just to looks  like the other girls in dc,who seems to have no aim in their life ,they are only girls in love
but it would be sad to see that the only girl who hasnt' got enough love in her life(no friends before ,no parents...  before knowing conan,she even hadn't a normal childhood and a normal life), doesn't have someone who love her more than everything ,like her sister did!   really she need a bit of  love in her life!

I have nothing against Ai. In fact, instead of mulling over some of DC's problems right now [the most famous: Akai-Okiya-Bourbon!!!!] I've been looking for boys in the series that would go well with her.. I'm not going to cite examples 'cause the ConanAi fans are going to kill me. But I think this is the only way to resolve the problem.

I have nothing against Ai. In fact, instead of mulling over some of DC's problems right now [the most famous: Akai-Okiya-Bourbon!!!!] I've been looking for boys in the series that would go well with her.. I'm not going to cite examples 'cause the ConanAi fans are going to kill me. But I think this is the only way to resolve the problem.

the problem is not "which boy could go well with her" (there are a lot if you want my opinion) but "with which boy she had a strong relationship, or which boy she really trust" and then there are not many boy ,only conan   (i don't count agasa of course,he's like a father for her, and mitsu ...she seems to use him when she needs,it's not love) 
most of fan like coai because of their relationship and not because "the 2 of them are cool and  cute so they have to be together"
it's like if i wanted to pair ran with an other boy  because he could go well with her,like araide ..... you see it doesn't make sense

but you are free to give examples of boys!!!! we are peaceful don't worry myself i think about okiya(if i have to chose someone else out of conan) and i still alive lolz

I was thinking about Ran crying if Shinichi said "I love another girl", and really, she already does that! So even if the ending is like that....

on a real-life basis, that's sad. For entertainment purposes, annoying. I just don't want the ending to be sappy at all!

Haibara is a very popular character, even without Shinichi. Also due to the fact her importance to the story. She's involved with almost every BO member, and was a BO member herself, and INVENTED the drug that started the story. So, she's kind of...more important than Ran. Ran is sweet, but not so very important. I just don't like the useless lover types. I like when the main girl lover is important to the story...don't know why

I don't feel Ran deserves Shinichi just because she waited for him either. I know she's waited for him for forever, but nobody asked her to. Shinichi and Ran aren't and never were dating! That was her own choice to wait. She is assuming Shinichi feels the same, without even knowing if he really does feel that way. She wants him to love her, but she doesn't even know if he TRULY does. So she's waiting for someone who is not even hers yet. Therefore, he can be with whoever he wants to be in my book. She just be better be glad he feels the same. She's trying to force her feelings on him, rather than claim him after he says anything. Thats clingy.

I don't feel Ai deserves him, not after her drug shrunk him ( ). But I do feel they have a lot to teach each other from the experience, and them growing to like each other in any way (not just romantically) is far more interesting.

(i'm a girl) when i first saw him in dc(it was in vol 30) i was thinking the same,cause he looks like shinichi( a rich and young detective) but it was for fun,totally random lol! funny to see you had the same idea as me
hope that people will not be angry by what i said!it was just random idea!

@ sorathothamax: it's true that in the begining it was her choice to wait for shinichi,but in vol26,he clearly ask her to wait for him!so it's not just her fault!
but i have to admit that it annoys me to see ran crying  so many times !

sometimes i have the feeling that they prefer looking for the past(flashback,and nostalgy when they thing about the past) instead of thinking about futur(and the changes  there will be, in their relationship )! it's like they want to return to the past (2 childhood friend who are secretly in love)!

all this nostalgy make their couple a bit ....static for me,i don't  find their relationship has many evolutions!
i don't know if i'm very clear,but that's what i feel

I see your point with that. Shinichi did say "wait for him" but that can have so many meanings really....but you're right. It's still to vague to be crying over.....

Shinichi is single, lets face it. Ran isn't his girlfriend, so he's not hers to claim, whether she wants him to be or not.

It's all based on nostalgic memories....it seems...the same as it always was, rather than evolving......or changing.

No one thinks about how things will be as a result of the BO mayhem, or how they have changed as the people they once knew as children.....no one thinks how that will effect their relationship. But it will. Their lives are different..

I just don't think Ran is useful to the story, aside from her willing to save people's lives, which anyone could do. i hate useless lovers.....I'm thinking of someone else...

Tuxedo Mask was useless from Sailor moon. He helped sometimes, but really all he did was throw a rose....and get kidnapped...and become the king...he wasn't needed to continue the story at all

yeah ,that would solve everything ! or otherwise i was hoping that she will doubt of her feelings toward shinichi for once in her life, which would make her more realist,more human for me(it's normal for a girl to have doubts about her feeling)
but she didn't ,and i became more and more annoyed and  disgusted by this couple
