Ehh no worries I didn't like the case either.  It was an annoyingly simple case.  I guess it's because I was expecting more.  I can't believe some of you guys can be satisfied with that.  Even the fanservice can be better!!  (common you guys can think of something fluffier then that right?)

About the actual discussion: When Ran finally uncovers Shinichi(Shinichi being Conan) because she already knows his secret, Shinichi will take her to a special place (his house?/ TropicalLand?) and finally confess.
