Yep, cause we duplicate the letter in case the world is plural, so it should be, but only in case where all the words are plural.
Estados Unidos=EEUU
Estados Unidos de America= EUA

So yeah, I was bluffing, but mostly because it is really hard to hear EU=Europe ;D

France, Austria, Switzerland (not an EU member), Denmark, Holland. Probably not Luxembourg either, you would probably be able to speak German. Vlaanderen? Polska? ÄŒechy?
What the heck is Vlaanderen?
Last hint: You have lots of players originally from my country in your German National Football Team.
Are you Flemish? Would explain why you're bashing the French...
No, I'm not and I'm not bashing them, I'm just saying the fact about their knowledge of the English language.
*nods*
I mean, it's the 21st century... even the Japanese now behave differently...

However: Eri and Kogoro never got divorced, even if she is still using her maiden name. So it was either Ran's decision to take care of her dad (at that age?) or there is another reason why she wouldn't be with her mother. It becomes more and more likely she is somehow involved with the BO. We have never seen where she lives either, have we?
Maybe she's the boss... joking  ;D
And they don't even have the courage to divorce each other... sigh...

Klose and Podolski are the ones I can think of.

And Trochowski. Well that's three, but seriously - the German National Football Team is full of foreign players, how many Germans exactly do you have in the GNFT? Like about 10%? ;D

Flanders, the part of Belgium where they speak 'Dutch'.
Must be Poland. Cześć, then.
That certainlz took a long time to find out.

I don't think it has anything to do with courage. It might be less accepted in Japan to get divorced than in the West. And staying together for the kid's sake isn't totally unheard of either.

I don't think she's the boss, but it would make sense if she was a member. Have Eri and Vermouth ever been seen in the same place? ;)

@conia: Trochowski as well. He played against Spain.

Also let not turn this into nation bashing. It's a mine field. (Actually, all three of them have German ancestors afaik).

Didn't know about Trochowski (I've seen it playing though). Yes, Germany has lots of foreign players, but this is becomming common in many national teams...

Cześć. Or maybe I should say: Guten Tag ;D Seriously, are you multilingual or something? ;D
Well, DC is not popular in my country at all, maybe I'm the only fan ;D

Does that mean that Kogoro had s** with Vermouth?? Cool ;D

Also Khedira, Boateng, Ozil and many others are not of German origin.

I think it's a good thing that people with a different background represent our countries, they will feel more like they're a part of our society. When Özil scored against Ghana the entire country was proud of him and that might be a huge step forward for the Turkish community. What I don't like is when players who have played in the national league are naturalized right before a tournament (Cacau) or people like Kevin Boateng. Löw wouldn't let him play for Germany so he went to Ghana instead (his father was Ghanaan).
This is just a farce. (I also remember a case of a figure skater for the Georgian national team who knew exactly one word in Georgian. Even I know more)
Khedira, Boateng, Özil, and Gomez were all born in Germany and are of mixed ancestry.

Has there been a Polish translation of DC? Or even a Scanlation?
I used to live in Zittau (Żytawa) for a couple months (At the German/Polish/Czech border). Unfortunately, that's basically all the Polish I know, as I was there to learn Czech.

Yes, but I wonder if the German team would be so good without the foreign players...

You gotta be joking... in this country almost everything Japanese-related is unknown to most of the people. I became interested in DC, because I saw an episode on RTL 2 (By satellite TV), so yeah, a German TV was the one that made me interested in Conan ;D

@Conia - how did you feel when Germany kicked your team's ass in the quarter-finals?

You should be more subtle with Argentinians, we are extremely passionate about football.

I was totally dissapointed about Maradona's tactical plans for the Match. Germany tactically played the same way it did in all their matches, but Maradona never did something to counter this. We were totally stomped by the Germans and it's not coincidence that 3 of the 4 goals were alike.
the 5 German midfielder played very synchronized with each other, so Argentina had to overcome the midfield really fast or directly skip it, a gamestyle it wasn't (surprisely) prepared beforehand, at least as a plan B. Talking about plan B, Maradona didn't make player changes when the team need it. I think this mihgt be because: He trusted the players on the field or he wasn't sure about what change should he make, and I find really hard trusting the 11 players that are 0-3 behind.
Germany followed a thought, which was implemented before the start of the WC, while Argentina trusted its individual star players (Which played a good, and not much more than that, WC overall). When this star players stopped brimming their light, Argentina was clueless about what to do.

Germany(Following a gamestyle) 4 - 0 Argentina (Following nothing)

Actually almost no one believed that Maradona would lead the Argentinians to the quarter-finals, just look at the qualification - you almost finished at the 5th place in the CONMEBOL qualifying, but somehow you beat Uruguay and landed on the fourth place. In the group stage you played great, especially against Korea and Greece. I remember when Germany and Argentina met at the previous World Cup where it came to the penalty shootout. This time the Germans dominated on the pitch.

Pretty much everyone lost hope on Maradona in the CONMEBOL quilifying group, but the positions doesn't matter when playing the WC. (If not, look at Uruguay).
Four years ago, Argentina had a better team than this one, much more equilibrated. It brillianty changed from defending to attacking, with very capable midfielders (Cambiasso,Riquelme,Mascherano,Rodríguez,González and some more).

I think Argentina is to blame that Germany lost in semifinals of the last two WCs. Both times we got cocky after beating Argentina who are always a favourite. We stopped focussing on the next opponent (Der nächste Gegner ist immer der schwerste) and started dreaming of the title.
@Löw's system: He didn't change it for the match against Spain either. Del Bosque did and the Spaniards totally destroyed use while we were running around aimlessly.

Back to topic: I would love it if they'd actually showed a full football match in DC. Something similiar to the baseball match in the Koshien stadium.

You can get revenge in two years ;D, that is if you qualify ;D Maybe Austria, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkey (Ozil must play against his own country, that is sad) won't let you pass that easily.

And I wish the Japanese stop calling football: "sakkaa" but "futsubooru"
