I'm pretty sure that with an anime as well-known and as large as Detective Conan they do take other audiences into consideration.

Their only reason to take other audiences into consideration is if they would receive some actual profit from it in some way. If they don't, then they have no reason to. So why would they take the american audience into consideration if Funimation doesn't even produce anymore episodes for the US?

I just figured since they probably know that it will eventually come overseas for subtitles and such. But if I'm wrong i'm wrong.

I imagine them both 40 one day, and Haibara is like... "I'm actually 53 trapped inside a 40 year old's body..." and Mitsuhiko is like... "Wait... what?!"

Well there are people who like the pairing and it's a little more likely to happen.

Why would Gosho make Mitsuhiko have a crush on Haibara? I mean, he already had a couple where the cute little child had a crush on their friend that they didn't know was older than them. (AyuCon) so what's the point in MitsuAi if Gosho doesn't think of Mitsuhiko as a possible love interest for Haibara?

Well, a theory of mine is that Mitsuhiko is supposed to be that one person from her new life that she looses (or nearly losses) to the BO and that may send her over the edge and she may freak out. (Insert Conan or somebody else slapping Haibara in the face as seen in anime when somebody looses somebody they love.) With the way Haibara acts towards loosing people and her relationship with Mitsuhiko I see it as possible.

I don't think this thread is stupid. It's actually more so a couple who doesn't get much attention because people insist on AiCon or AyuMitsu.

Plenty of people think it's cute. But more people look at us MitsuAi supporters as though we're crazy, although we obviously aren't.

(No, I am not a shota fan. If Haibara were back to being Shiho THEN I'd have an issue with them! XD) I'm really thankful that this thread was created and I hope we get this thread to last a long time. (Longer than the LAST time, anyways! XD)

Pairing threads are just chaotic and their only purpose is to act as a cesspool, I don't care which pairing, ConAi, ShinRan, ChibaMitsu, they always go to hell one way or another because, like slider said, there are crazy fans (Nyarl) who would put their lives on the line for the pairings.

(The way I see it those threads are there for people to talk about how much they love a couple together and in case any development occurs in any episodes or manga so that we can all be excited and giddy together. We're fangirls and boys- it's what we do.  )

But you're supposed to be respectful about it. He was just being mean and saying that it should be closed because pairings are "useless". I can understand if he said "I don't think there should be threads for things like this, they're not very interesting to me" but he didn't. He just said that it should be closed down because "they always go to hell one way or another." That's trolling, not expressing his opinion.
