Why do you watch/read Conan?

Mainly because I have spent so much time reading the series, that I want to see it to its end. But I also still rather like the show and the characters.

I love the plot, and it always leaves room for speculation and discussion in cases. Been going on for long, but still hasn't lost interest and engagement.
Reading the manga is nice, since we have excellent scanlations and I also like the art style

Detective Conan is a great manga/anime. I got interested in it when I watched the very 1st episode. Plus, it has the genres that I like the most: Mystery, Comedy, action.. ^^

Its funny plot and story, beside analysis I can learn about friendship, true love story and joke.

I've watched the anime as a kid, and even then it already made me laugh. I remember thinking how on earth would Shinichi and Ran end up together...! Lastly, I like that it's a lot like Doctor Who :p seems like the series has no plans of ending!

Nostalgia reasons is one big reason - having grown up watching Conan on TV and all (yay for living in one of the few countries that has animes on TV!) and it's a nice thing to talk with my brother about. Of course, I love the characters and even if I get annoyed at the anime/manga or my interest fades away, I'll always return to it. The plot and cases are almost always pretty intriguing, and even the worst AOs aren't even "there" in terms of horrible anime (in general) episodes.

Also, it's not everyday that you come across an anime with a Mystery/Murder genre.

Good question. IDK. Maybe I just want to know how this series finally will end, or maybe because I have nothing else to read between neverending hiatuses in HxH. Or maybe because I like to watch how generally malicious Haibara is, or how Conan is malicious to Haibara (that scene in the bus and BO scene FTW!).

Yes really ^_^' I was just kidding . Because DC was very very very long . And me I m very curious to keep waiting the end other 10 or 5 years at least
