Yeah..but Gin isn't in love with Shinichi and constantly waiting by the phone for him to call. Kid showing up as Shinichi just means Gin will send the hounds after him thinking that he is Shinichi and of course they will proceed to take out all of Shinichi's relatives and friends in fear that he might of told them what he saw that night. So in short ANY plan that involves revealing to the BO that Shinichi is alive (Kid,Heiji,temp drug, etc.) is a BAD plan.

The BO is actually a dark sect which worships a raven (yups, a bird), which is evidently also their leader.
While everyone suspects Kogoro the cat to be their leader, Kogoro actually is their Silver Bullet (also known as Akai Shuichi). Which proves "Akai" isn't really dead, because he escaped in his cat form from the car that was blown up. Oh, and the body found in the car was in fact a body named Akai who he temporarily possessed and discarded when he went back to his original cat body.
So now he has a new body, under the name of Okiya Subaru, and uses Conan to take care of smaller cases and hinderances in his journey to destroy the BO. But he'd like to have the leader simply weakened, since he's a cat and wants to play with his meal first. And after that, he'll become the leader of the BO because he defeated the previous leader and thus proved to be stronger and worthier, and he'll eat two birds a day from then on and live a happy, satisfying, blood and feathers-covered future with plenty of food and fun times by regularly posessing the BO members and create tensions inside the organization which result in big-scale wars! Oh, and he'll keep using and deceiving Conan, because he's simply smarter than Conan! ^^
Erhm ... well, now for the objective of the raven. She wants world peace, because she was a former miss World whose soul was forced into the body of a raven by Kogoro the cat.
The BO is misinterpreted because they always look like the "bad guys" when they themselves go after the real "bad guys". They blackmail them and keep them busy by forcing them to make computer programs etc., so they can't do anything wrong like taking over the world. Of course, sometimes things go wrong and they accidently kill some people. Besides that, they really need to work in the shadows and cannot afford to be discovered by anyone, thus they have to kill a lot of people who happen to know a bit about them. But they mostly use "soft ways" to kill them, they made that drug to make those people not suffer too much.
The BO members use cocktail nicknames because they think it's "cool", and it's related to a bird ("cock"tail). Gin is a bird lover and is in the organization simply because the leader is a bird (but later on, he'll become a cat lover too ...) *gets mental image when Gin and the raven meet each other every time XD roflol*, Wodka is in it because he's Gin's partner, Vermouth because she hates cats (she's allergic to them, and will have a lot of trouble to adapt to the new leader later on), Tequila because of the black uniform (he's lucky he's dead, because the new leader will change all that to grey clothes), Pisco because he can't find any other work aside from this one in this financial crisis, Calvados because he was once severely attacked by a cat and rescued by Vermouth (one clean shot did the trick) and followed her, Chianti because she has the same curse as Shinichi in her being attracted by deaths, Korn because he wears custom sunglasses that are only available for sect members, and Bourbon because he got nothing else to do besides being bored. Oh, and Shiho and her family were members because they're actually on drugs (the bad ones). Shiho had to stop 'though, since all the others went crazy (they told her they died to soften the pain).
Conan was just a normal child who's memory got replaced by Shinichi's parents. The real Shinichi died and his parents miss him so they experimented on Conan. But they mixed up the wrong memory. Shinichi's parents hate Gin and his brother Vodka because they were the cause of Shinichi's death. Conan now believed that there are an organization. Haibara was also experimented on because it'll be weird if he was the only victim of APTX. In the end, Conan died because of what he believe in.
The leader of the Black Organization is none other than... Michael Jackson!!!
That is why the Black Organization was testing the APTX drug, it was so Michael Jackson could turn back into a little boy, stay as one forever and play in Neverland!

As to the theories they all sound great except anything that involves Kogoro actually being smart...that is absolutely impossible... then again i guess thats why it cant be mentioned in the thread... still i would hate and if Kogoro was actually smart all this time.
My theory would be...
Yusaku is going to take down BO.
Or at least he has enough leverage with them now to make the organization afraid to kill shinichi in fear of Yusaku.

Another theory.
Why is Vermouth so helpful i mean he saved her and all but she is risking her life to help him. And she the favorite and in that kind of organization you dont get there easily she must have showed overwhelming dedication and loyalty before so why stop now. I mean she thinks he is going to take down the organization. So that means she isnt loyal to it anymore or the boss ordered her to leave him alone. I think she was ordered not to the kill / let anyone else know that conan=shinichi. The only people who i think are smart enough to run BO and not want shinichi dead are in my opinion Yusaku, Agasa, Ai, and Shinichi's mom (shoot whats her name again?). So one of them ordered her to protect shin chan. And the reason the boss doesnt kill shinichi is because he still hopes to get shin to join BO. MUAHAHA and with shinichi BO WOULD BE INVICIBLE.... but thats not right either since it seems like she wants BO to be taken down.
hmm maybe its one of those Code geass of Gundum 00 things where BO is trying to become the most feared organization just so its taken down later and be blamed for all evil. And that would mean that its really a "good" organization trying to change the world for the better but using evil means. IF thats the case i dont see why Agasa of Yusaku cant be the boss. And Gin doesnt know the organizations true motive but Vermouth does. And the boss + vermouth want to cleanse the world of some other evils before being taken down by shinichi and haveing the world know and fear of such organizations... i cant really explain the motive code geass r2 and celestial being are trying to do succinctly but thats what i want to get at here.

Well, Gosho did lead us to believe that Jodie was really Vermouth before, so I think it HIGHLY unlikely that Okiya is Bourbon like he wants us to believe. Who would have guessed that Jodie was really FBI, huh? I think he'll surprise us with who Okiya really is. He might just be a new character ya know? And not someone in diguise.
